Deborah Goodwin is a Brooklyn-based writer and filmmaker. Born in
Manchester, England, raised in the Montreal art scene, graduate of
Dawson College's drama department and the American Musical and Dramatic
Academy, Los Angeles refugee; (where she went to the AFI for screen
writing & worked at USA Networks, CBS kids programming, CAA's basement
and Sanford-Pillsbury Productions as head of development). An Film
Independent screenwriter's & producer's lab alumni, Urbanworld Film
Festival Best Screenplay award winner for her family drama, "Cherrys",
with her first feature film "Vampires in Venice" making its sales debut
at Cannes Market 2011.
