Cinematographer Yael Shulman was born in Hollywood California in 1979,
raised in New York City, and graduated from The School Of The Art
Institute of Chicago in 2001 with a BFA in Film.
Yael has worked as a cinematographer and camera operator for films, music videos, TV pilots and clients that have included CBS Sports, HBO Latin America, GQ, and PBS.
Yael received her first feature film credit for work as Live Performance Camera on the movie "Mistaken For Strangers", a documentary about the rock band The National.
It was the Opening Night Film of the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. The movie opened in theaters on March 28th 2014, having received a distribution deal with Starz Digtital Media and Abramorama.
