Lil Rel Howery (Vacation Friends), Ludacris (the Fast & Furious franchise), and Teyonah Parris (WandaVision) will be helping to ring in the holidays with Dashing Through the Snow. The Disney+ original holiday comedy unveiled a batch of photos super early, considering it’s not even October and Halloween decorations are currently taking up space on store shelves.
Joining the trio for some holiday fun are Mary Lynn Rajskub, Ravi V. Patel, Gina Brillon, Kevin Connolly, and Zulay Henao. Disney’s holiday comedy “Dashing Through the Snow,” which has been in the works since 2016, has finally found its leads in Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Lil Rel Howery and Teyonah Parris. Production has begun in Atlanta, with the film set to premiere on Disney+ during the 2023 holiday season.
Kevin Hart is no longer in talks to play Santa Claus, as he was when the project was first announced, an individual with knowledge confirmed to TheWrap.
Oscar Nuñez, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Ravi Patel, Marcus Lewis and Madison Skye Validum round out the cast.

Disney has picked up a new comedy fairy tale project attached to Reese Witherspoon.
The actress is expected to produce and star in Happily Ever After, a pitch from the creator of Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 Nahnatchka Khan, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie picks up around ten years after the ending of a typical fairy tale, to discover what happened to the prince and princess after they rode off into the sunset for their "happily ever after". The couple find that even in fairy tale land, you have to work hard to keep your relationship together.
Pacific Standard's Bruna Papandrea and John Jacobs of Smart Entertainment are also on board to produce with Zac Unterman acting as an executive producer.
Witherspoon is currently involved with a number of upcoming projects including sci-fi romance Passengers and Inherent Vice, where she will reunite with her Walk the Line co-star Joaquin Phoenix.

Exclusive: Disney has just closed a seven-figure pitch deal for an untitled action comedy pitch by Scott Rosenberg. Several studios were bidding. John Jacobs is producing. They’re keeping the plot under wraps. Rosenberg’s most recent spec, Hauntrepeneur, sold to Paramount with Platinum Dunes producing, Russell Brand attached to star and Rob Letterman to direct. Rosenberg just did a production rewrite on the Michael Bay-directed Pain And Gain for Paramount, currently shooting with Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson. Rosenberg recently did a rewrite for Disney’s Life For Sale, which Andrew Panay is producing. Wme brokered the deal. Jacobs’ Smart Entertainment will produce, with Zac Unterman executive producer. Summit is picking up "Ricky Stanicky," a comedy spec from "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" writer Jeff Bushell with James Franco attached to play the title character.
The story, which aims to be R-rated, is described as an ensemble comedy in the vein of "The Hangover," and begins when three teens pull a prank and burn down a house in their neighborhood. They create a fake person to take the blame -- Ricky Stanicky did it! Twenty years later, we see that the three guys have been using this alibi to get out of every uncomfortable situation in life. When their wives force them to set up a meeting with Stanicky, they hire an actor (Franco).
Michael de Luca, currently working on the new "Fright Night" movie, is producing with Smart Entertainment's John Jacobs, who produced "Chihuahua" as well as "Blades of Glory.
