On March 9th, 2017, Sing For Your Seniors Sfys hosted the latest in its series of Broadway Sessions with cast members from Cats for the Lgbt seniors at Sage Center Midtown. The musical performance, led by Sfys Session Leader Daniel Torres Broadway Beautiful, Evita, The Pirate Queen, The Woman in White, Off-Broadway Altar Boyz, National Tour Wicked, included songs of the performers' choosing as well as songs from Cats. The evening starts with the Halloween-themed concert featuring camp, vamps and tramps as well as some of the best voices on Broadway. Special guest Alice Ripley, a Tony Award winner for Next to Normal, will be joined by cast members from Broadway's Bring It On The Musical, The Broadway Boys and Marty Thomas and his Divas. They'll join the previously announced Evita cast members, including Rachel Potter, Bradley Dean, Laurel Harris, Brad Little, Jessica Lea Patty and Daniel Torres.

As BroadwayWorld first reported, a reading is currently taking place for Soap Dish The Musical, directed by Rob Ashford, with a book by Robert Harling, music by George Stiles and Lyrics by Anthony Drewe. The cast of includes Kristin Chenoweth, John Stamos, Jane Krakowski, Cristin Milioti, Anne L. Nathan, Michael Park, Miriam Shor and Daniel Torres. At this time there has been no formal announcement, or set timetable for the show. Beginning Monday, September 3, 2012, Ricky Martins performance schedule as Che in the hit production of Evita will be Tuesdays at 7pm, Wednesdays at 2pm amp 8pm, Thursdays at 8pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm amp 8pm. Max von Essen and Daniel Torres will alternate in the role of Che at Monday evening performances. The schedule change is part of a slight restructuring of Mr. Martins appearance agreement with producers and will not change his overall number of performances in Evita.

One of Broadways most celebrated performers, Max von Essen, steps into the role of Che for six performances, starting tonight, July 2 July 7, in the new Broadway production of Evita while Ricky Martin is on vacation. Daniel Torres will play the role of Che for both the matinee and evening performance on July 8. Max von Essen originated the role of Magaldi in the current production of Evita and will return to that role when Martin returns from vacation. The performance schedule for this week is Monday at 8pm, Tuesday at 7pm, Thursday at 8pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm and 8pm and Sunday at 2pm and 730pm.

Director: Michel Franco Writer: Michel Franco Starring: Dario Yazbek Bernal, Marimar Vega, Chema Torre Allow me to begin by stating that one of the greatest traits of Daniel & Ana is its ability to shock an unsuspecting viewer. I will attempt to keep the following review as ambiguous as I can, but Michel Franco's debut feature functions most effectively if the viewer does not know anything about the plot. But, before you stop reading, please be forewarned that Daniel & Ana is an emotionally tragic tale, one that cinema-goers might not care to willingly digest. It's not quite as violent as Irreversible, but promises to be equally psychologically challenging for the audience. But like Irreversible, the strength of Daniel & Ana is the before and after specifically the cinematic tone and the actors' performances. Ok, now that you have been forewarned you can either scurry off to the nearest art house cinema...
