*full disclosure: a DVD screener of this film was provided by director John Lechago.
Director/writer: John Lechago.
Producers: Vincent Bilancio and Tai Chan Ngo.
This reviewer knows John Lechago mostly from his excellent directing work on Killjoy 3. This was a film with a lot of imagination, putting characters in a hellish, but fun world. This film starred Victoria De Mare and Al Burke. Both of these actors also star in Lechago's latest called Bio-Slime. Previously called Contagion, Bio-Slime has been referred to as a blob movie: "a decent blob movie" (Monster). This reviewer would simply call it a B-movie, or a film likely to see a DVD release and made for under a million. Bio-Slime's budget was much lower than this with much of the finances dedicated to special effects artist Tom Devlin's creations. The appearance of porn stars Gia Paloma and Roxi Devill are merely a...

Closed and reopened three times since it opened its doors in 1937, the subject of our 10th cinema review is a charming little art deco survivor
• Check out our Google map and flickr group
• Tell us where to go next
On location: While the bright signs on the side of the Tyneside Cinema can be seen all the way down Newcastle's bustling Northumberland Street, the actual entrance to the cinema is tucked down a side street. Next door is a cocktail bar that tends to spill out on to the street in the summer months, creating a nice buzz.
Crowd scene: Staggeringly varied, from well-to-do older couples eager to see the latest Kristin Scott Thomas to the geeky twentysomethings who'd prefer to see Super 8 in more comfortable surroundings than the local multiplex. Hordes of students descend on the cinema for the special discounted evening screenings.

Whitney says she keeps her friends super close But on last week’s episode of The City she and her Bff Roxy got into a big fight!
Whitney Port thinks having close friends are really important! BFFs, we can all relate to that right? We ran into the gorgeous blonde at the Sex and the City 2 premiere on May 24th, and Whitney, 25, made it clear that she’s not the type of girl that goes through friends like underwear. “Roxy [Olin] and my other best friends are my friends I’ve had forever … it’s all about the roots and history.”
Whit, this all sounds so sweet and perfect, but there is definitely tension brewing between you and your Bff Roxy right now. On the May 25, episode of The Hills, sparks began to fly between the you two after Glamour magazine chose to feature Whitney’s outfit over Roxy’s.

One of our Zombie Girls over at Hustler Video sent us the news of a porno-parody of The Munsters called... This Ain't The Munsters XXX. This video is part of the sitcom parody collections that follows up Not The Bradys XXX, Get Smartass, This Ain't Gilligan's Island XXX and I am sure many many more are to come. I'm sure this will be fun, over the top, and surely demented... Which would please most of our readers! I just hope they don't make a This Ain't Knight Rider XXX or The A'hole Team!
Hustler Video is thrilled to announce the wrap of This Ain't The Munsters XXX. This film took porn parodies to the next level with director Anton Slayer's over-the-top attention to detail. Slayer set up shop at a studio in downtown L.A. and painstakingly re-created The Munsters family environment. From a cemetery scene to Grandpa's laboratory to The Munsters family living room,...
