As the new season of "Smallville" continues marching toward its conclusion, the creators of the record-breaking series haven't shied away from introducing new characters to the impressive cast of DC heroes and villains. This time around, it's two new additions hailing from Apokalips, Darkseid's hellish home planet in the comics universe: Granny Goodness and The Female Furies.
The CW has released a bunch of new images from the November 12 episode, "abandoned," featuring Granny Goodness (Christine Willes) and Mad Harriet (Lindsay Hartley), as well as Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and Tess Mercer (Cassidy Freeman). The episode will also feature the much-discussed debut of "Lois and Clark" actress Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane's mother, Ella.
