The victims were all young vulnerable black women who lived in south Los Angeles and struggled with drug addiction. Their naked or partially clothed bodies were all dumped in the filthy neighborhood alleyways, left to rot under garbage and debris. With his found-footage horror Willow Creek at FrightFest this month, we spoke to director Bobcat Goldthwait about its Bigfoot premise...
Made popular by the release of The Blair Witch Project, found footage movies slid into an almost totally forgettable category after a slew of disappointing forays into the genre over the past few years. It is difficult to believe that something novel could come out of the genre, but surprisingly, if you team it with an equally well-used subject, namely the decades-old legend of Bigfoot, you might end up with a recipe for a good fright movie.

Singleton states that back at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival he accepted a deal for $9 million dollars from Paramount and MTV Films for Hustle & Flow starring Terrence Howard. Wellington, Sep 08 – British Actress Gemma Arterton has been named woman of the year at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, which was held at the Royal Opera House in London.
The Kinks star Ray Davis received the outstanding achievement prize, while Damon Albarn’s cartoon group Gorillaz were named best band.
Former Oasis star Noel Gallagher was at the ceremony, and admitted Damon – who was historically his bitter rival due to Oasis’ feud with Blur in the 90s – was worthy of the recognition.
“Gorillaz definitely deserve some kind of award – if only for having 104 people on.
