Tis’ the season to write Top Ten lists, as you all well know. Don’t roll your eyes, you know you expect it. I am nothing if not a slave to fashion. I have picked out my personal favourite ten titles of the many books I have read and reviewed this year. You may well disagree but, hey, it’s my list. Enjoy.
10. Tekken (Cavan Scott / Andie Tong)
Tekken was one of those books that didn’t put on any airs and graces, and just delivered to its core audience exactly what they wanted. Action, fighting, action, and, er , fighting. To be fair Cavan Scott tried to get a little emotional depth in, but Andie Tong’s visuals and plenty of action delivered what the fans wanted.

DC Comics has released an extensive checklist of ‘The New 52′ hardcovers, complete with releases dates, that are expected to be released next year. Idw editor Chris Ryall is working on a new chapter in his Zombies vs Robots series, due for release in 2010. Zombies vs Robots Aventure kicks off in February, following on from the previous chapter in the post-apocalyptic tale. Illustrated by newcomers Menton Matthews III, Paul McCaffrey and Gabriel Hernandez, the comics consist of three eight-page stories per issue. Created by Ryall and artist Ashley Wood three years ago, the original Zombies vs Robots series debuted in 2006. It was followed by sequel Zombies vs Robots vs Amazons the following year.
