- Death in Vegas are an English electronic music group formed in 1994 by Richard Fearless and Steve Hellier headed up by Richard Fearless The band uses a wide range of musical genres, including psychedelic rock, electronica, cosmic music, dub and industrial and the sound is changing between live rock, electronica and techno. Richard Fearless is also the founder of the band Black Acid.

- The song Dirge was the subject of a lawsuit by the band Five or Six, as it borrowed extensively from their song Another Reason. The case was settled with Five or Six receiving a writing credit.
- The band signed to Concrete Records under the name of Dead Elvis. However, there was an Irish record label of the same name at the time, and Dead Elvis became the title of their first album instead.
