For the second year in a row, Taylor Swift has swept the Gold Derby Music Awards, but not in every category. She was upset by Lana Del Rey for Album of the Year. Scroll down for our complete list of winners, and watch our video presentation of the winners above.
More than 5,000 registered Gold Derby users voted in these awards, which honored the best music from the eligibility period of September 2020 through September 2021, the same as the Grammys’ calendar. And they awarded Swift six times out of her seven nominations. She won repeat prizes for Artist of the Year, Record of the Year (“Willow”), Song of the Year (“Willow”), and Best Pop Artist. She also claimed Best Pop Album (“Evermore”) and Best Music Video (“Willow”). That gives her 11 total wins over just two years of the GDMAs.

This may come as a surprise to devoted disciples of the Queen B, but according to producer Diplo, Beyoncé's 2011 single "Run the World (Girls)" actually started as "a joke."
"I think a lot of people don't even realize where that song came from," Diplo told BBC Radio's Newsbeat. "That song never really had a push. It was a song we did, kind of like a funny, kind-of-a-joke song."
"Run the World" was released as the first single from Bey's much-anticipated 4 album, though it was met with a slightly puzzled reaction from some of her die-hard fans and failed to generate much heat on the charts, reaching only #29 on the Billboard Hot 100. Subsequent singles "Best Thing I Never...

Los Angeles, CA, United States (Ahn Entertainment) - Beyoncé has been teasing fans with clips and trailers for her upcoming new music video, "Run the World (Girls)." But the video will get its world premiere on Wednesday night's "American Idol."
Beyoncé confirmed that the highly anticipated clip, which features the 29-year-old star on horseback and in the desert, will debut during the three finalists' performances on "Idol."
Following its prime-time debut, which will hopefully do for the single what it did for Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor" following its "Idol" premiere, the video will be available for viewing online.
"Run the World (Girls)," co-written by "Single Ladies" collaborator Terius "The-Dream" Nash and produced by Switch, Knowles, and Shea Taylor, has so far peaked at #33 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In order to boost the sale of her new single "Run the World (Girls)" which received rather lukewarm response, Beyonce Knowles continued to hype up the upcoming release of its music video. Most recently, she dropped a new official trailer of the clip which previews her desert takeover.
This new sneak peek gives a look at an army of Beyonce's girl friends pumping their fists in the air. Clad in hot pants and short skirts, these ladies are all over the places, crawling and clawing on the ground, coming out of a cage, and getting on a bike ready for the girl domination.

Beyoncé dropped the official version of her new single "Run the World (Girls)" on Thursday morning (April 21). The track is just under four minutes of sassy, girl-power lyrics paired with marching-band beats and club appeal.
The song is loud and proud in its relentless message: Beyoncé and girls everywhere are in charge now. B is clearly rallying the troops to her side in this first single off her forthcoming summer album release.
"Girls, we run this motha," she announces at the song's opening. Soon, the beat takes off and looped Auto-Tuned vocals complement Beyoncé's feel-good call and response of "Who run the world? Girls."
The verses that follow sound like a warning to any of the haters. "Some of them men think they freak this...

Beyonce Knowles has revealed details of her brand new single "Run the World (Girls)" which leaked earlier this week. The R&B singer is going to release the song as a lead single from her not-yet-titled album on iTunes on April 21 and premiere it on radio worldwide on the same day.

A demo version of Beyoncé's new single "Run the World (Girls)" may have made the rounds online earlier this week, and now the singer will unveil the official version sooner than expected.
According to a press release, the club-ready tune, which samples Major Lazer's "Pon de Floor," will hit radio airwaves and iTunes worldwide on Thursday.
Produced by Switch, Beyoncé and Shea Taylor, "Run the World (Girls)" is the lead single from the pop star's yet-untitled fourth studio album. Like her previous smash "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," the singer wrote the girl-power anthem with the help of R&B mastermind The-Dream.
If that weren't enough to appease fans' appetites, the entertainer has also released a 17-second video teaser called the "B Revolution" on her website.
