A white jumpsuit with crocheted mesh sleeves. A sheer beige minidress. A bare-shouldered pomegranate pantsuit. Naya Rivera – who stars on Glee as out-and-proud lesbian ex-cheerleader Santana Lopez – tries on one red-carpet outfit after another at her stylist's Los Angeles loft, while a seamstress adjusts the clothes to be tight, but not obscene. Eventually, Rivera finds a red vinyl dress that can be transformed into shorts for a Halloween costume. "I'm going to be a sexy Carmen Sandiego," she says, referring to the title character of the long-running educational video game...

A track reportedly co-written by the late Michael Jackson entitled "Slave To The Rhythm" and featuring Justin Bieber's vocals on top was leaked on Friday with Bieber essentially confirming the track's authenticity.
As posted on YouTube, but later taken down over copyright claims, the four-minute and eighteen-second song has Bieber singing the verses and chorus with Jackson's vocals on the heavily dance-oriented track.
"She dances in these sheets at night/she dances to his needs/she dances 'til he feels just right/until he falls asleep," Bieber sings on the opening verse. The chorus repeats the title often with the line "A slave to the rhythm of love" occasionally tossed in.
The Guardian reports the song was allegedly written by Jackson and Rodney Jenkins during recording sessions for Jackson's 2001 "Invincible" album. Tricky Stewart, most famous for producing songs with Rihanna, Beyonce and Bieber among others, reportedly reworked the song...

Justin Bieber has summoned inspiration from the King of Pop on a newly remastered song that has now leaked online. Michael Jackson's "Slave to the Rhythm," a little-known track released posthumously in 2010, has received an electronic update courtesy of the Biebs.
It's unclear where the track was originally intended to appear. The 2010 version was produced by Tricky Stewart, who worked on Bieber's "Baby" as well as megahits from Rihanna, Beyonce and Mariah Carey.
Bieber took to Twitter on Friday a few hours before the leak to announce that "big things are ahead."

Britney Spears could have had “Umbrella,” Rihanna can cut a hit in two takes and sometimes a background singer is just what a song needs. Those are just a few of the lessons espoused by master vocal producer Kuk Harrell -- the only person allowed to stitch together RiRi’s words. Madonna
Photo: Getty Images
There's a reason she's called the Queen of Pop. Madonna's managed to write and rewrite the pop playbook over and over (and over) again for three decades. She's captivated and empowered young women to grow up to become whatever it is they want to be. (I'm one of them.)
When others have come and gone, Madonna has remained relevant. She's influenced others and, yes, even herself (see her new video for "Girl Gone Wild"). With her latest album release, Mdna, just days away from dropping, the big question that some might be wondering is: Does she still have it? Can she still make an album that breaks ground, sets trends and sounds uniquely like Madonna? Well, yes.

Katy Perry's Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection
Photo: Jive
Katy Perry is set to release Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection later this month, and in two new teases, the singer is displaying her signature sense of sass.
Mid-tempo track "Wide Awake" is big and full of emotion. The song seems to pick up where her single "Part of Me" left off.
While "Part" is a kiss-off, "Wide Awake" is all about the empowerment one feels after letting go of someone. "I'm wide awake, not losing any sleep/ I picked up every piece, and landed on my feet/ I'm wide awake, need nothing to complete myself," she sings. "I'm wide awake, I am born again/ Out of the lion's den, I don't have to pretend/ And it's too late, the story's over now/ The end.

Katy Perry is in talks to bring Candyfornia to a Cineplex near you -- in 3-D.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount has reached out to the pop star's camp to do a documentary-style 3-D film a la the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber and "Glee" before her.
While the deal is still in its early stages, according to sources, both sides are excited by the prospect of bringing Perry's colorful, over-the-top stage spectacle to the big screen. Right now, sources added, it's a matter of working out the logistics for the potential film.
Perry is not currently on tour: She wrapped up her California Dreams trek less than two weeks ago in Manila, Philippines. So, how and when Perry would tape the concert portion of the film is up in the air.

"I just got the call a week ago that the greatest-hits album for Jennifer Lopez is coming up," vocal producer Kuk Harrell told MTV News. "Now I'm just waiting for them to put on the schedule [and] let me know what songs we're actually cutting and stuff like that.

Beyoncé just wants to "Dance for You" in new teases for her 4 album track. The sexy video will be featured in the deluxe edition of Queen B's "Live at Roseland" DVD special, out November 29.
In two clips posted on Aceshowbiz.com, Beyoncé dons hot pants, garters and a slinky wrap dress as she performs a sexy dance routine on a desk. The video has a film noir vibe, as a private eye-type character watches Beyoncé as she dances. In the other tease, Beyoncé, in the same outfit, dances seductively in front of a chair as the camera cuts to the detective fellow watching her.
"Dance for You" is one of three tracks featured as bonus material on the deluxe version of 4, along with "Lay Up Under Me" and "Schoolin' Life.

Killer Love now reportedly slated for December 6 release.

After waiting more than five years for the domestic release of former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger's debut solo effort, surely her fans can hold on for a few more weeks?
The long-delayed Killer Love, which dropped in an alternate version in England in March, was slated to finally wash up on American shores on November 15. But according to the Hollywood Reporter, the disc has once again been delayed, pushed back a few weeks until December 6. No reason was given for the latest delay and the singer's label, Interscope Records, would only say that the new release date would be "early December."
The U.S. version of the Scherzinger disc is slated to feature production by a slew of heavy hitters, including Lady Gaga collaborator RedOne, Jim Jonsin, The-Dream, Harvey Mason Jr. and Tricky Stewart.

Katy Perry is preparing to release an expanded edition of her Teenage Dream album, her producer has said. The singer will allegedly include some tracks that did not make the first cut of the LP on the new record after they have been 'freshened' up. "Katy and I went into [the studio] just to address some issues with records that we had done in the past that didn't end up going on Teenage Dream," Tricky Stewart told MTV. "So we are in the process of just listening and freshening up things and getting ready for something special she has going on." Although Stewart would not confirm the creation of a Teenage Dream 2.0 edition, he did divulge details of what songs have been reworked for a release. He continued: "This song is really special. It's called 'Dressing Up', so it's going to be (more)...

Earlier this year, it seemed that Kim Kardashian was readying herself for pop stardom. Kardashian worked with The Dream and Tricky Stewart (Mariah Carey, Ciara) on a dance cut named "Jam (Turn It Up)", a song whose recording was captured on Kim and Kourtney Take New York. After the March debut of the song, there was no other news about a potential Kardashian album, but on the heels of Kim's wedding to New Jersey Net Kris Humphries, part of the music video for "Jam" has hit the internet.
The video is very much a Kim Kardashian video, from the footage emphasizing her curves to the expensive jewelry showcased and the pink/purple lighting. It's all glitz, body hugging clothes, and facial close-ups while seemingly leaving out choreography. However, you only get to see the intro and the very first part of the verse and it's unclear when (or even if...

Beyonce's latest album "4" was released Tuesday to generally good notices. However, as the reviewer in Rolling Stone observed, "'4' might be her strangest record. It’s a big-budget megapop album with an A list of guest stars (Kanye West, André 3000) and songwriter-producers (Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, Diplo, Ryan Tedder, Diane Warren). Yet it’s as eccentric, as unmistakably personal and quirky as anything that Sufjan Stevens ever cooked up in his bedroom." And, as USA Today noted, "Compared with Beyonce’s three previous albums, which arrived on a wave of hit singles, the release of '4' seems relatively quiet. Neither lead single 'Run the World (Girls)' nor 'Best Thing I Never Had' has caught fire on the charts." As a solo artist, Beyonce Knowles has managed to stay relevant without being overexposed. Over the years, she has taken home 16 Grammys. But earlier this year the recordi.
