Beth Lano

Beth Lano was born in Hartford City, Indiana on October 2, 1963. She
attended Ball State University and Indiana University, majoring in
music performance (French horn) and minoring in communication studies.
She moved to Las Vegas in the mid-1980s, and worked as a musician in
the local and traveling orchestras for Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr.,
Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett, and Wayne Newton, among many others. She
has also performed with Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Placido
Domingo, Alicia Keyes, Seal, Elton John, Celine Dion, the Who, and
countless other acts, freelancing on the Las Vegas Strip for various
musical acts (Seal, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Elton John, Celine Dion,
the Who, Metallica, The Moody Blues and many others.)
She was a morning radio show DJ on STAR 102.7 FM (KSTJ) from 1998- 2007. She has also hosted radio shows on KNUU, KJUL, and KQOL in Las Vegas, and hosted a national jazz show on DMX radio.
In addition to working as Director of Public Relations for the Musicians Union of Las Vegas, she worked as a senior public relations specialist for The Firm PR/Marketing in Las Vegas. She now works as a full-time musician in the Las Vegas production of"Spamalot" starring John O'Hurley at Wynn Las Vegas.
Beth has appeared on several critically acclaimed jazz recordings, and is a session musician and associate principal French horn with the Las Vegas Philharmonic. She also works as a voice actor, shilling for clients ranging from Lexus automobiles to Tulane University, RNN News in New York, Cox Communications in the Southeastern US, and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority nationwide.
Marriage: Joe Lano (1990-2004).
