Prince Kareem

Born and raised in the Bay Area's Richmond, California, Prince Kareem
found his love for acting at a young age. Armed with just a home video
camera and his neighborhood friends his living room became his first
stage. Bit by the acting bug and a passion for the arts, Prince Kareem
studied under W. Allen Taylor and was soon led to the Berkeley Black
Rep. Theatre where he chiseled and polished himself performing in
plays. Stepping out on the power of prayer along with a leap of faith
Prince Kareem moved to the Los Angeles to pursue his passion. Appearing
in soon to be released films such as "I Got What U Want", "Mark 8:36",
short film "Bathsheba", and recently "Vapors" where he portrayed
Earnest, a young aspiring teacher who wanted to make a difference in
the inner city but not by playing sports or being a rapper. In addition
to his film career Prince is also proud of appearing in and producing
along with director Bobby Mardis " Beats By The Bay" the first film of
a documentary series that was featured in the Hollywood Black Film
festival as well as the San Francisco Black Film Festival, and focused
on independent bay area hip hop artists, there social consciousness,
and the step by step know how of becoming a successful independent
artist.
