- Nadia is the daughter of Natalia, Duchess of Leuchtenberg, and Malcolm Baker Bowers, Jr., a Texan psychiatrist. Her maternal grandparents were Sergei, Duke of Leuchtenberg (born in St. Petersburg, Russia) and Anna Aleksandrovna Naumova (born in Crimea). Nadia is a descendant of the Romanov family and Joséphine de Beauharnais. She is also the grand-niece of Serge Koussevitzky, Russian conductor, double-bassist, and founder of the Tanglewood Music School in the Berkshires.
- Her maternal great-great-great-great-grandmother is Empress Joséphine of France, the first wife of Napoléon Bonaparte. She is a descendant of Joséphine's first husband, Alexandre de Beauharnais.
- (June 21, 2015) Married her longtime boyfriend Corey Stoll following a 8-month-long engagement.
- Gave birth to her 1st child at age 42 in October 2015. Child's father is her husband, Corey Stoll.
- Her maternal great-great-great-grandfather is Emperor Nicholas I of Russia, and through him she is a descendant of Empress Catherine II the Great, and Emperor Peter I the Great of Russia.
- Her first role was Anita in West Side Story, when she was a sophomore in high school.
