Netflix has shared the trailer and poster for Mother of the Bride, which will begin streaming globally on May 9, 2024.
The film was directed by Mark Waters, who is known for Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, Just Like Heaven, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, Vampire Academy, and Bad Santa 2.
In Mother of the Bride, Lana’s daughter Emma returns from abroad and drops a bombshell: She’s getting married—in Thailand—in a month! Things only get worse when Lana learns that the man who captured Emma’s heart is the son of the man who broke her heart years ago.
The film stars Brooke Shields, Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly), Sean Teale, and Chad Michael Murray, with Rachael Harris and Benjamin Bratt.
