Wu-tang Clan member turned filmmaker RZA is known for his affinity for anything and everything in the martial arts ilk, but as seen in the first trailer of Cut Throat City, he is going a different route. He took the Comic-Con stage in Hall H to wax poetic about how he relates to martial arts and how he honors it before switching gears to talk about the movie. He was joined by the cast Shameik Moore, Wesley Snipes, Demetrius Shipp Jr., Denzel Whitaker, Keean Johnson, Kat Graham, and Tyron Woodley to debut the trailer for the heist drama. T.I. and Terrence Howard also star but were unfortunately not able to join in on the Comic-Con fun.

Australian actor Brenton Thwaites ("Oculus," "The Giver") has signed on to star in the zombie action movie "Office Uprising".
Ian Shorr and Peter Gamble penned the script which is set within one of the world's leading arms manufacturers where a substance is slipped into the employees' drinks that supposedly makes them work more efficiently.
Unfortunately they are fed the wrong formula and start turning into homicidal maniacs, meaning the slacker responsible for the screw-up has to rescue himself and his friends from the growing zombie plague inside the company compound.
Steven C. Miller ("Marauders") directs while Giulia Prenna and William Clevinger are producing. Thwaites will next be seen in "Gods of Egypt" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales".

On tap right now are several exclusive stills from Patrick Cunningham's feature directorial debut, Model Home, and since it's Friday, we figured that staring at them would be a great way to pass the time until the 5:00 Pm whistle.
Co-written by Cunningham and producer William Frank, Model Home is being shepherded by High Windows Films and stars Jasper Cole (pictured right and below), Monique Gabriela Curnen (Contagion), and Kathy Baker (Take Shelter, "Medium").
The narrative explores the practice of "live-in staging," in which recently evicted families are recruited to live in unsold properties. Curnen plays a single mother who begins to entertain dangerous fantasies while "staging" a model home in an otherwise empty development, while Baker portrays a realtor who grows increasingly suspicious and alarmed.
Will Clevinger and Ben Rabbers (The Devil’s Carnival) co-produce, as does Jarod Einsohn, with executive producer credits going to John Frank and Douglas Britton.

Steven C. Miller’s Under the Bed will start its limited theatrical release this Friday and we have a number of special features coming up. The first is an exclusive Q&A with costume designer Ambre Wrigley, thanks to FancyDressCostumes.co.uk. In this feature, Ambre talks about her fear of monsters as a child, taking inspiration from music, and modifying costumes for horror movies.
How did you get involved with Under The Bed?
Ambre Wrigley: I responded to an ad looking for a costume designer. I met with Steven Miller (Director), Will Clevinger (Producer), and Ben Rabbers (Upm). We interviewed for about 15 minutes until they said they’d get back to me and about 20 minutes into my drive home I got a call offering me the gig. I was so excited about it I couldn’t stop grinning for days. I’d just landed my first full feature as a costume designer.

This writer hit the set of the then-shooting Patrick Cunningham-directed feature Model Home in the La area enclave of Santa Clarita on July 9th and while there chatted with the filmmaker regarding the project as well as with co-producer Will Clevinger (The Devil’s Carnival) and more.
Shooting Day 19 of 20 in the entirely suburban and seemingly white-bread environ, it was hard not to feel that aliens with a hankering for Reese’s Pieces and nuclear families with daughters named "Carol Anne" would both feel entirely comfortable on the set of Model Home. The rented residence in which the production had set up shop and the homes that surrounded it were dotted with manicured lawns and tricycles with colorful handle-bar streamers, abandoned apparently by the pre-pubescent children who had ridden them. Smart perhaps, as what was shooting inside Model Home was fairly disconnected from the tranquility the family-centric locale strove for.

Jason Hughes is a writer who wears many other hats. Besides writing books, the horror fan also works on screenplays, he is into special FX and even went to school on that, he screen prints and owns his own t-shirt company, impressive huh. One of my favorite highlights about Hughes is he has written a sequel to the movie Christine and I’d like to see that crazy car come back in his story, because it’s about time we see the Fury roll again! Check out my latest Versus with writer Jason Hughes.
Brian S- First off Jason, how'd you get into writing?
Jason Hughes- I've been writing since a very young age. Every since I basically knew how to write, I took Horror films and wrote a little short (about a page) story based on them. The Exorcist was my first film to "re-adapt" in a few paragraphs.

Automaton Transfusion has zombies, lots and lots of zombies. Seldom does a undead flick have enough to quench my thirst. Usually in the small titled dead flicks there are one or two, until the finally where you get maybe 15 tops.
The shockingly grisly zombie horror flick Automaton Transfusion bleeds onto DVD March 4th from Genius Products and The Weinstein Company.
In Automaton Transfusion, The United States Army began developing a procedure to bring back the dead with the purpose of having them fight instead of the living. The testing takes a horrific turn and an experimental town quickly becomes overtaken by zombies. Three desperate high school students decide to fight back in a battle for survival.
The latest release under the company’s Dimension Extreme label, Automaton Transfusion follows three teens brazen enough to fight back a town full of swarming zombies. Written and directed by Steven C. Miller, Automaton Transfusion...
