- Samantha made her writing and directorial debut with her film "Black Girl, Magic", winner of the 2018 Women in Film and Television 'Alice Award' for the 48 Hour Film Project NOLA. The 'Alice Award' is for excellence and showcasing the work of women in key roles on the screen and behind the camera.
