Ol' "Chop-Top Sawyer" himself Bill Moseley is a legend in the horror biz! He has taken over the reigns as Mayor George W. Buckman previously played by Robert Englund in the new 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams and has made the character his own! He's a really cool guy even though he plays the bad guy most of the time, from roles like Chop-Top in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 to Otis in House of a 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, to Repo: The Genetic Opera, heck he's even been on Days of Our Lives! He also has a band called Spider Mountain and even has some music that's featured the new "Maniacs" movie. Check out my latest "Versus" below and go rent or buy 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams on July 20th. Here's another one I can check off my bucket list! Thank you Mr. Moseley!

Cult horror icon Bill ("music is my life!") Moseley told FEARnet last year about his team-up with composer Rani Sharone to form the surreal combo Spider Mountain – whose music will soon be heard on the soundtrack to Tim Sullivan's splatter sequel 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams. But in the meantime, the band has put together a creepy little claymation video to accompany their first single, Rolling Hills. Check out the video and learn more about Spider Mountain below the fold... Revered among horror fans for legendary roles like "Chop-Top" in Tobe Hooper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and Otis P. Driftwood in Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, Moseley's love for...

Bill Moseley is a man who has proven time and time again that music is his life. If you require any more proof, his latest CD, Spider Mountain's No Way Down, is now available for pre-sale! Who doesn't wanna rock out with Chop-Top and friends?
To order your copy, you can either click here or on the image below. Even better, the first 500 buyers get a copy that has been numbered and autographed by Moseley and his partner in Spider Mountain, Rani Sharone (of the band Stolen Babies). There's even one song off the soundtrack of 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams. How's that for incentive?
Click on the image below for ordering details and the full track list, which includes several soon-to-be-classics such as "Stupid Life of a Mom Eater" and "Sex Life of a Punk"!
