Nicolas Veinberg is a film producer with more than twenty years of experience in the fields of development, production, financing and distribution.
Veinberg, the owner and principal of Content Studios, a new tech + art + entertainment venture, is developing a new slate of films, TV shows and web3 content. Content Studios' first feature-film production is "The Penguin and the Fisherman", the true story about the unlikely friendship between an old Brazilian fisherman and a Magellanic penguin he rescues, starring Jean Reno.
Other recent Veinberg titles under Defiant Pictures, his previous venture, include "Being Charlie", a coming of age story in the rehab world, directed by Rob Reiner and starring Nick Robinson and Common; "Elsa & Fred", a remake adaptation of a beloved Spanish classic about two elderly neighbors whose chance meeting proves it's never too late to fall in love, directed by Michael Radford and starring Christopher Plummer and Shirley MacLaine; and 'Dark Places', starring Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and Chloe Moretz, based on Gillian Flynn's gritty #1 New York Time's best seller.
