Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Aew Universal once again. We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary as usual so let’s get to the action!
Match #1: Ari Daivari def. Fuego Del Sol
My Thoughts: Loved this match. Fuego looked like a badass for once, taking it to Ari – who really took a beating in this match, the antithesis of how we’ve seen him recently in Aew. Eventually Ari cheated to get the win as all heels do. Surprisingly great match to open Dark.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Willow Nightingale def. Robyn Renegade
My Thoughts: What’s not to love about a match featuring Willow Nightingale? Imho, she needs to be signed with a major promotion Asap, she’s got the personality, the charisma and the skills and every crowd she wrestles in front of Loves her! Plus the Renegade twins...

Welcome to this week’s review of Impact Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Jazz is retiring on this show. I’m gonna miss Jazz. Jazz has been a favorite of mine since around 2002. Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have…my Nana just died. She had cancer and just died this afternoon of it. She was a tough ol broad. She could be real rough around the edges and soft to the touch at the same time. Nana had a hard life and had to raise six kids in the middle of the 20th century. She wasn’t perfect and she wasn’t always nice, but she cared deep down and showed it when it mattered most. The stakes have been raised to almost unbelievable levels for this Saturday’s Impact World Title showdown between champion Rich Swann and Tna champion Moose.
Impact Wrestling executive Scott D’Amore made a pair of rapid-fire announcements March 9th on Impact! On Axs TV that sent shockwaves around the wrestling world. D’Amore informed the bitter rivals that their main event match at Sacrifice would not only unify the Impact and Tna World Championships – but the winner would go on to face All Elite Wrestling World Champion Kenny Omega in a mind-blowing title vs. title fight at the Rebellion PPV on April 24th.
There have only been a handful of truly inter-promotional champion vs. champions, title vs. title collisions in the century since professional wrestling gained widespread popularity. Simply put, it isn’t good business for promoter’s to risk the champion of a rival organization not only beating their champion...

Sonjay Dutt and Abyss have left Impact Wrestling. Impact talent were informed of the departure yesterday in an email.
According to PWInsider, the belief is that Dutt and Abyss are both headed to WWE in some capacity.
Dutt was a member of the Impact creative team, working alongside Jimmy Jacobs as well as Don Callis and Scott D'Amore. Tommy Dreamer and Konnan are expected to take on a larger role with the Impact creative team moving forward.
Konnan has been with Impact Wrestling for the last two years, managing the reincarnation of Lax (Santana and Ortiz). Dreamer returned to Impact last year, featured in the feud between Eddie Edwards and Moose as well as Edwards and Ove. In addition to appearing on camera as a talent, Dreamer has also been working backstage recently as a producer for the company.
