It’s been 23 years since The Princess Bride made its entrance into our lives, and 23 years ago we first set eyes on the glowing blonde locks of Cary Elwes. Unfortunately for Elwes, the character of Westley is one that will stick with him probably for the rest of his life. He’ll be in his fancy nursing home, unable to escape the barrage of Princess Bride quotes. Requests for his walker or daily doses of his Metamucil will be met with, “As you wish”. As Good As Dead PosterA full theatrical trailer is now live for Jonathan Mossek's thriller As Good As Dead. The clip shows Cary Elwes as a man terrorized by Andie McDowell's character Helen and the Shulzstaffel tattooed Aaron (Frank Whaley). The trailer follows a revenge plotline, as two kidnappers try to identify Ethan's (Elwes) true identity. Or is he just an innocent victim? Fans will have to see the film for the finale and for the answer to this question, but in the meantime enjoy two minutes of suspense and tension in this As Good As Dead official trailer.

Jonathan Mossek's "As Good As Dead," starring Andie MacDowell and Cary Elwes, will kick off the 10th annual International Beverly Hills Film Festival on April 14 at the Clarity Theater in Beverly Hills.
It will be preceded earlier that evening by the premiere of "Jesse's Story," Mark Jacobs' documentary about surfer Jesse Billauer, as well as the North American premiere of the Brazilian documentary "Sequestro" (Kidnapping), directed by Jorge W. Atalla.
Producer Frank Yablans will be the third annual recipient of the Legends Award, which will be presented at the closing night awards ceremony April 18 at the Beverly Wilshire Beverly Hills Hotel.
Bhff founder Nino Simone will be presented with the Parajanov-Vartanov Award for his commitment to independent cinema and for his support of filmmakers Sergei Parajanov and Mikhail Vartanov.
