Billy Joel‘s Madison Square Garden (Msg) concerts are coming to an end, but there’s still time to see him at the famous New York City arena.
The New York local first began performing for Msg in 2014 and, in October, started the countdown to his last ten shows. The “Uptown Girl” singer currently holds the record for most appearances at Msg.
“Madison Square Garden is the center of the universe as far as I’m concerned,” Joel is known to have said. “It has the best acoustics, the best audiences, the best reputation, and the best history of great artists who have played there. It is the iconic, holy temple of rock and roll for most touring acts and, being a New Yorker, it holds a special significance to me.”

Three years ago, when Disney announced a remake of its animated classic The Lion King, it was easy to be skeptical: With the original still so beloved, was an upgrade even necessary? But at least one family in South Africa was hopeful. In both the first movie and a later stage production, The Lion King features “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” a Sixties pop hit that has its roots in “Mbube,” a song written and recorded in the Thirties by South African singer and migrant worker Solomon Linda. For decades, Linda...

Let's be honest: the best part of any classic Disney film is the music. That's why we're So ready for the soundtrack of the live-action reboot of The Lion King, especially after all the sneak peeks we've gotten of the cast singing our favorite tunes.
The soundtrack features new recordings of the original songs, which will include African vocal and choir arrangements created by South African producer Lebo M. Not only does the star-studded - and ridiculously talented - cast bring a unique spin to all the classics, but dynamic duo Elton John and Tim Rice have also written a new song for the film that we cannot wait to hear! Check out the tracklist for the soundtrack ahead and get ready to listen to the full playlist when the album drops along with the movie on July 19.

After making their name known internationally with a 5-person-1-guitar cover of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" that went viral, Burlington, Ontario pop band Walk Off The Earth are back at it again with just their voices for an a cappella cover of Taylor Swift's song "I Knew You Were Trouble."
The video was posted yesterday and already has 250,000 views. It opens with singer Sarah Blackwood performing alone before additional members emerge beside her song. Perhaps the oddest part of the video is that two-time Canadian beatbox champion Terry "Krnfx" Im appears about 40 seconds into the song, adding different noises and backbeats himself that you'd usually hear a DJ create on turntables.
The backing harmonies then morph into a snippet of Solomon Linda song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," made famous by The Weavers and The Tokens before returning to more of a hip-hop-meets-pop tune. Krnfx also gets...
