Amid the hullabaloo over Warner Bros resurrecting its Justice League movie, it seems the studio is also trying to get some other heroes on to the screen.
Variety's report of Will Beall penning Justice League also mentions that Michael Goldenberg, one of the writers on the Green Lantern movie, has been hired to write a Wonder Woman screenplay.
While his connection to the dismal Green Lantern may be worrying, Goldenberg also worked on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. He's also attached to write a Green Lantern sequel, which has not yet been given the official go-ahead and seems unlikely to happen given the poor performance of the first film.
There have been efforts to make a Wonder Woman movie since 2001. At one time Joss Whedon was attached to write and direct a feature film, but left over creative differences, saying the studio's "lack of enthusiasm was overwhelming.
