The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 4 ended with a dramatic bang as ratings for the finale reveal an audience of 2 million viewers tuned in to the climactic ending across all platforms over the course of three days, making it the most-watched episode of the series since the first episode of season 1, which aired on Nov. 11, 2020, according to NBCUniversal.
Of the 2 million viewers, 1.1 million of the group landed in the 18-49 demo, pushing the episode to season highs in linear viewing within the 18-49 demo and total viewers along with series highs in Peacock viewing when excluding Peacock-First originals.
The otherwise mild-mannered fourth installment came to a close with an explosive ending to the housewives’ trip to Bermuda as Heather Gay made the shocking revelation to the group that the newest addition to the group of pioneer women, Monica Garcia, was actually the leader behind a Housewives-focused social media account,...

Warner Bros. Television Group has eliminated 125 jobs, IndieWire has learned. That tally includes 82 employees laid off across the scripted, unscripted, and animation divisions as well as 43 open positions that will go unfilled.
The 125 jobs represent a loss of 26 percent of the current and vacant positions at the company. The layoffs alone comprise 19 percent of the current Wbtv workforce.
Parent corporation Warner Bros. Discovery has been cutting costs in all sorts of ways, including previous rounds of layoffs and the scrubbing of completed films and television series. The most notable example of the content write offs came when David Zaslav chose to wholly delete “Batgirl” ahead of its release. Zaslav and his consigliere CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels have tasked themselves with finding 3 billion in cost savings.

Another wave of Warner Bros Discovery post-merger layoffs is coming.
We hear multiple divisions of the merged company will be impacted, with Warner Bros. Television Group considered a main target. The staff reductions are expected this week, as soon as (and likely) Tuesday. Speculation about the imminent downsizing started spreading like wildfire Monday morning. Reps for Wbd and Wbtvg declined comment.
The number of layoffs is unclear but appears to be substantial. The HBO/HBO Max programming operation in August laid off 14 of staff — about 70 people — the vast majority of them on the Max side, with the areas of Max Non-Fiction Originals, International, Acquisitions, Casting and Live-Action Family Originals as the most heavily impacted.
Like with HBO/HBO Max, the Wbtvg cuts are expected to be accompanied by structural changes spearheaded by Chairman Channing Dungey.

“Now is right, now is the time, (there are) so many families out there that desperately need our help ,” said Frost. She and Peirson were joined on the panel by the Ostlers of Mesa Az, a family featured on the show, including parents Dane and Nicole and sons Jax, 6, and Kaydin, 4.
Frost said the reincarnated show will also deal with contemporary issues such as postpartum depression, as well as focusing on tweens and teens along with toddler troubles.

In a trimming of executive ranks at Warner Bros.’ Unscripted & Alternative Television division, Pam Healey, general manager of Shed Media, and Stuart Krasnow, executive vice president, creative affairs of Telepictures have exited the company, an individual with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap. New executives will not be hired to replace them.
Along with Healey and Krasnow, Chris Noonan, a development executive at Telepictures, departed along with Krasnow. Both Shed and Telepictures will continue operating independently.
The reason for Healey and Krasnow’s departure and the elimination of their positions was not immediately made public, but Deadline reported Wednesday that Warner Bros. is streamlining Shed Media and Telepictures by also consolidating finance and some other back-office operations.

Exclusive: Warner Bros. Unscripted & Alternative Television is trimming the executive ranks of two of its three divisions, Shed Media and Telepictures.
Leaving are Pam Healey, General Manager of Shed Media, and Stuart Krasnow, Evp Creative Affairs of Telepictures, along with a couple of development executives across both units. They won’t be replaced.
I hear the departures are part of streamlining across Shed Media and Telepictures, which also involves consolidating some finance, business and other back-office operations in cost synergies from efficiencies. Beyond that, Shed and Telepictures will continue to operate independently.
The biggest of the three Warner Bros. Unscripted & Alternative divisions, Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, is not affected.
Healey had run cable-centric Shed Media since January 2013 and was responsible for supervising the development and production of original unscripted television series.
In light of her departure, her top lieutenants, Svp of Programming Dan Peirson and Lisa Shannon will take on leadership responsibilities.

Ellen DeGeneres is substantially expanding her producing portfolio.
The multi-hyphenate, who signed a three-year extension to her daytime hosting gig earlier this year, is behind four new shows coming to HBO Max, three of which have been handed straight-to-series orders, and one of which has been put in development.
DeGeneres announced the pickups on her talk show and, in typical Ellen fashion, also surprised her audience with a two-year HBO Max subscription in celebration of the news. The three series orders in question are for design competition show “Ellen’s Home Design Challenge,” dating show “First Dates Hotel,” and 2D animated children’s series “Little Ellen.” The show in development is a docu-series titled “Finding Einstein.”
“I’m very excited to bring my new shows to HBO Max. I don’t know who Max is, but I can’t wait to work with him,” DeGeneres joked.
