Hallmark Hall of Fame, the longtime TV movie franchise that ran on CBS for 16 years before it was dropped by the network in May, has landed a deal ABC beginning with the upcoming season. Under terms of the multiyear agreement announced today, ABC will premiere the movies exclusively, with encore broadcasts coming a week later on Hallmark Channel. The first movie under the deal will be Mitch Albom's Have a Little Faith, starring Laurence Fishburne, Bradley Whitford and Martin Landau and directed by Jon Avnet. It will air before Christmas. Dead Food Films, Brand B Corporation and Paranoid Android Films are banding together to create an original horror film anthology. Three short films, tiled "Don't Open the Door," "Born From Raw Emotion," and the "Time Traveller's Knife," will be at the heart of the feature, with a narrative linking the three stories together. Cumulatively titled Three's a Shroud, the official website has launched for this killer themed film series, which shows some of the bloody artwork for the film. More details are below.

"'Don't Open The Door' is a tale of suspense and psychological terror, about a dysfunctional couple who are struggling to keep it together. It's a creepy, old school ghost story, in the tradition of such tales as The Monkey's Paw, relying on tension to keep the audience hooked right through to its shocking conclusion" (Shroud).
