BEIJING -- Europeans swept most awards at the Shanghai International Film Festival over the weekend, but only one showed up to collect his prize at an event plagued by disorganization and sweltering heat, local press reported Monday. Four Minutes director Chris Klaus of Germany expressed disbelief upon receiving the Golden Goblet for Best Film from presenters Luc Besson, French director and jury president, and Chinese director Chen Kaige. "I spent eight years on this film. It was hard, but I got help from many people. I should still be in the audience!" said Klaus about his movie portraying a piano prodigy with a murder in her past, the Beijing Morning Post reported.
