Meow: Character Poster for Indie 'Women in Trouble'

1 November 2009 6:02 AM, PST | GetTheBigPicture.net | See recent Get The Big Picture news »

We've seen posters and a trailer for Women in Trouble before, and it's one of those small, studio-free movies that really has to sell itself this way. It's actually got a really impressive cast; in no specific order, we've got Carla Gugino, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin, Simon Baker, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Marley Shelton, and Adrianne Palicki.

The trailer's pretty entertaining but the posters, while individually good enough, are all over the road. I guess the connecting tissue is some homage to posters from the 1960s, but it's a fairly loose collection. The latest poster, which we received from Screen Media Films, is of Friday Night Lights-er Adrianne Palicki, who if nothing else, has perfect teeth.

Palicki in Trouble

27 October 2009 4:24 AM, PDT | JoBlo.com | See recent JoBlo news »

When watching "Friday Night Lights," everyone always says “ooh Minka Kelly is so hot.” But not me, I’m going outside the norm to say that the skinny hot blonde girl is my pick. Yeah, I dare to be different. So needless to say I’m glad to see Adrianne Palicki getting more work, both in Women In Trouble and soon Legion. Exclusive: Women in Trouble Poster Premiere

26 October 2009 10:10 PM, PDT | FilmSchoolRejects.com | See recent FilmSchoolRejects news »

Adrianne Palicki spells trouble. And she does it while looking pretty hot, if you ask us. Once again we've got an awesome little exclusive to support one of our favorite films of the year, Sebastian Gutierrez's Women in Trouble. This time, it's Ms. Palicki showing up in her favorite costume just in time for Halloween. I'm not sure what our resident sex columnist Bethany Perryman would say, but this might be something that you ladies out there might consider... Just a thought. Don't hit me. Palicki stars as Holly Rocket, a porn star by day, call-girl by night who is most certainly in trouble. She stars alongside the likes of Carla Gugino, Emmanuel Chriqui, Connie Britton, Marley Shelton and Cameron Richardson in this tale of ten women and the trouble they have in common. It is a film that I myself called a genuinely honest dramedy that is held together by a very strong all-female cast »

Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on 'Lost,' 'House, 'Grey's,' 'NCIS,' 'Glee,' and more!

Question: Is Emilie de Ravin going to be back on Lost for the whole season or just a few episodes? And will we get to see what happened to her? —Jared

Ausiello: The answer to both of your questions is a resounding yeppers. Better prepare yourself though. My Lost mole says season 6 will showcase "a version of Claire we've never seen before — a Rousseau-esque version." We'll be in need of a Rousseau fix since the real version will be MIA. According to a Lost insider, the French Lady's portrayer, Mira Furlan, turned down the show's request to return for the final season due to a "prior overseas commitment." Anyone know how you say "big bag-o-nuts" in français? »

Ever since I heard the words "Carla Gugino as porn star," I've been interested in Women In Trouble. But while Gugino's turn as a trouble porn star is a part of the film, it's only one part in an ensemble cast that also includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Simon Baker, Adrianne Palicki, Marley Shelton and Josh Brolin. The latter two are the stars of our exclusive new clip from Women In Trouble. Their segment takes place in the friendly skies and stars Brolin as a British rock star who... »
