Jordón Shinn is an American actor, model and VO artist based in Bangkok, Thailand. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Jordón (Jor-DAWN) possesses both a neutral American accent and a standard British accent. He speaks basic Thai.
Jordón is a graduate from Oklahoma State University, where he studied music and creative writing. He also holds a master's degree from Communication University of China, where he launched his acting career as a contestant on CCTV4's reality series, "Wo Yu Zhongguo Diyici Qinmi Jiechu" ("My First Close Encounter with China").
Jordón has made several appearances on CCTV4's "Happy Chinese" TV show, was a special guest on "The Point with Liu Xin" and has worked as an actor in various documentaries, advertisements and film productions for the Chinese market. Prior to the pandemic, he was cast for lead roles in several documentary and TV series in China.
Since relocating to Thailand in 2020, Jordón has been featured in lead and support roles for various TVCs, including Chame' Thailand, FaThai Thailand, Enchanteur Vietnam and Leo Beer. His cinema debut will be in the forthcoming American sci-fi "Speed Train" set for release in 2024.
Jordón has taken acting courses at MasterClass Studio - Performing Arts School and Learning Space in Bangkok. He has also trained with the renown action actor Ron Smoorenburg for action movie and stunt moves.
Besides acting, Jordón is skilled in screenwriting and photography. He is a graduate of the Act One Hollywood Writing Program for screenwriting, as well as the founder and creative director of OmegaModeling talent agency. He is an alumnus of Bangkok Community Theater and is the Local Chapter Director of the Hollywood Prayer Network in Bangkok.
