The Wonder Twins appear tonight on Smallville, adding to the array of guest stars that have overwhelmed the audience this season so far. On "Idol," our dear Clark (Tom Welling) runs into two teens hoping to help fight crime in Metropolis. Trouble is, well, they're causing a bit of trouble along the way.
Zan (David Gallagher of 7th Heaven) and Jayna (Allison Scagliotti of Warehouse 13) have long admired the daring endeavors of The Blur. Lois (Erica Durance) introduces them to the city and they are surely welcomed. Until they reveal how little they know about mastering their powers.

As you may recall, The Wonder Twins are coming back to the small screen in live-action form. In typical Smallville fashion, the heroes don't look exactly like how you remember them from the cartoons and comics but you can certainly tell who they are. Their episode's called "Idol" and is set to debut this Friday.
In the story, Zan (7th Heaven's David Gallagher) and Jayna (Warehouse 13's Allison Scagliotti) stop by Metropolis to help The Blur fight crime. Unfortunately, they botch things up and land Clark (Tom Welling) in trouble with the District Attorney's office. As a result, Clark decides to reveal his secret to clear his name. The episode also includes some progress in the relationship of Lois (Erica Durance) and the young Kryptonian.
Here's a little taste of what's to come. »

Smallville Fan Columnist, Trish Neale is here again with some news. If you're interested in becoming a fan columnist, click here.
She might as well be Supergirl! And yes: I realize Kara would object to that statement.
But even without superpowers, Smallville's Lois Lane (Erica Durance) combines the talents of Nancy Drew, Sarah Connor and Katie Couric all in the body of Heidi Klum. Guys dream of her--a girl who drinks beer, calls out football plays in her sleep, attends monster truck rallies and still drops jaws in that little black dress. So what is the problem? Lois seems to have forgotten just how great she is herself. Let me quote: »

This review may contain spoilers. Last week saw Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley) take the forefront in an utterly forgettable comeback tale as the character struggled to deal with his dark impulses, developing alcoholism and his growing directionless in life. "Crossfire" more than makes up for "Roulette," featuring a return to form for Oliver Queen, classic Lois (Erica Durance) wit and a bad-ass Tess (Freema Cassidy) with mad assassin skills capable of taking down a Kandorian. Plus, the mild mannered Clark Kent (Tom Welling) finally grows a pair when it comes to his love life. Keeping close to the original DC tale, Ollie encounters a young girl named Mia Dearden (Elise Gatien) who was forced onto the street following a life of abuse and extortion. Trapped under the influence of a pimp ... »

We're still on the Oliver Queen express here on Smallville, as another episode focused on the development his character is up tonight. However, it looks as though Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark (Tom Welling) are getting ready to steal the show. That's right, tonight's episode marks that defining moment that Clois fans have been waiting for all season.
On "Crossfire," Oliver (Justin Hartley) encounters a young street girl, who has an extraordinary power. Guest star Elise Gatien portrays Mia Aka Speedy, skilled in archery and the eventual prot??g?? of our Green Arrow.

We previously announced that Julian Sands was going to be making a guest appearance on Smallville and now TheCW has revealed that he will be playing Jor-El. I'm not too knowledgeable about Superman mythology, but my sources (ie. Wikipedia and those few movies I've watched) tells me that he's Clark (aka Kal-El) Kent's biological father. We have promo photos and a synopsis to share with you.

Few TV love triangles have sparked fan debate like the one between Smallville's Chloe (Allison Mack), Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark (Tom Welling).
On one hand, Chloe is Clark's longtime best friend, and though she has pined hard for the future Man of Steel, lately their relationship has been strained. On the other hand, it's hard to overlook the Superman mythology that says Lois and Clark are pretty much destined to be together. But Chlark 'shippers still haven't given up hope that the chemistry between Clark and Chloe will turn into something more.
Smallville: Who's going to die?
So, TVGuide.com asked executive producer Kelly Souders to settle the debate once and for all: Will Clark and Chloe ever have a romantic relationship?

Friday (October 30) means a new episode of Smallville (featuring the first kiss of two central characters!). I remember Justin Hartley when he played Fox Crane on the soap Passions. It's embarrassing, but I used to love that show. That aside, TheCW has released a promo, a synopsis and promo photos for the episode. Check them out.
Oliver Takes DC Comics’ Character Speedy Under His Wing
Oliver (Justin Hartley) tries to help a young street girl, Mia Aka Speedy (guest star Elise Gatien), get out of her dangerous life by offering to train her, but Mia double crosses him.
Lois (Erica Durance) asks Clark (Tom Welling) to help her land a job as an on-air television host, but the two are shocked when the station wants to hire them as a team.
Allison Mack, Cassidy Freeman and Callum Blue also star.

Superstar comic writer Geoff Johns is returning to the Smallville set this January, penning an episode which introduces the Justice Society of America to the long-running CW show.
Late last night, IGN revealed who will be playing the three members from the Jsa appearing on the show, most of whom are Stargate alums. Hawkman will be played by Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson of Stargate fame), Brent Stait (Stargate Atlantis) will play Doctor Fate, and newcomer Britt Irvin will play Stargirl. Johns created Stargirl in the pages of the Jsa comic that he helped relaunch with FlashFoward co-creator David Goyer.
Previously, Johns wrote for the show last season, introducing the Legion of Superheroes. Currently, Johns is consulting producer on the Flash movie and is co-writing the screenplay with Jonny Quest writer Dan Mazeau. He’s also a producer on the Adult Swim show Titan Maximum which is brought to us by the guys behind Robot Chicken. »

This review may contain spoilers. The last three episodes have been dark . apocalyptically so, which is exactly why "Echo" comes as such a breath of fresh air. Forget the guilt that's eating away at Oliver (Justin Hartley) now that he has cast off his green leathers for good and gone to the bottle, this episode is fun, flirtatious and something of a romantic comedy. With a new found ability (admittedly one that is foreign to the Superman mythology), Clark (Tom Welling) is granted the ability to hear the thoughts of those around him . including Lois (Erica Durance). Writer Bryan Q. Miller wisely glosses over the moral ambiguities of listening in on the private moments of the cast and instead focuses on how much fun the Last Son of Krypton can have with such an ability. There are ... »

We've been a bit neglectful so far this fall season with our television coverage, particularly when it comes to analyses of episodes week to week. So we're going to do our darnedest to correct that oversight, starting right here, right now, with a look back at last week.
After careful consideration, we began to realize that detailed reviews of every episode of every major series, every week, was just too unwieldy—we haven't the manpower, and we doubt you have the patience to sift through long deliberations about the lives of your favorite characters on your favorite shows. We'll still do more detailed reviews every once in a while, but expect analyses of partial seasons more often than individual episodes.
So what's the alternative? Mini recaps/reviews. Think of them as Bk Burger Shots for your pop culture soul.
Ok, that's a wee bit disgusting. Think of them as "reviews you can use, »

TheCW was clearly expecting a resurgence of Zombie fandom in the wake of Zombieland. First, the demon zombie thread opened on Supernatural, now good old Zod, of the 'kneel before' Zods, is preparing to release some zombie madness on Smallville. First impression: Smallville's zombie's are scarier.
The kind folks at TheCW sent around a couple of pics of Smallville's zombies. Yipes. A cross between the scariest parts of The Exorcist and The Evil Dead. Great stuff if you are a horror freak like me. Here is the lowdown on Smallville "Rabid," which airs tonight – Friday – at 8:00pm est.
Zod Unleashes A Virus Into Metropolis — Zod (Callum Blue) and his soldiers release a virus into the air that turns humans into zombies. The only way to stop it is to make an antidote from the blood of another Kryptonian. After Lois (Erica Durance) is infected, Chloe (Allison Mack »

Got a scoop request? An anonymous tip you’re dying to share? Just want to say hi? You can send any/all of the above to ausielloscoop@ew.com Question: There's speculation that Izzie cheats on Alex on Grey's Anatomy. Is it true? —Molly Ausiello: No, but the newlyweds will be dealt a major blow at the end of next week's episode (the best of the season, Imho). In fact, the crisis is so big that Izzie disappears for roughly five non-consecutive episodes. Btw, even though I knew Katherine Heigl's mini-hiatus was coming, Izzie's exit was no less powerful or emotional. »

There's a new episode of Smallville on the horizon, and it's looking good for Clois fans (but not for those easily freaked out though). Actress Erica Durance commented about the budding romance of the two characters, as reported on a previous article, and manifestations of that are on the clip below.
For the episode "Rabid," it's some crazy zombie attack that Clark (Tom Welling) has to overcome. Is it just me, or is Smallville going the gory route? There was lots of blood and veins on the last episode, when John Corben was transformed into Metallo. Now, there's a bunch of creatures with massive dental problems. Creepier and creepier.

Season nine of Smallville is already up and rolling, and one of the highlights of it so far is the relationship developing between Clark/The Red-Blue Blur and Lois. You've seen how they were on the last episode, "Metallo," but apparently that's just not enough for the fans and for actress Erica Durance.
"I think that you're going to see a lot more of that triangle," she revealed on an interview with IESB.net. "She's so smitten with the Red-Blue Blur, and yet is undeniably drawn to Clark. I think, over the season, you'll be able to see how much they depend on each other, on so many levels. There's still that fun and that comedy side of it, with the banter, but they're also just trying to figure out how they feel about each other."

Brian Austin Green is a really mean machine on Smallville (Oct. 2 8/7c, CW).
In Friday's episode, poor John Corbin (Green) gets mowed over by a bus. Cue the creation of Metallo, the iconic DC super villain who has it out for the Blur, aka Clark Kent (Tom Welling). Metropolis and its residents, especially Lois Lane (Erica Durance), aren't safe with him on the streets.
Green graciously talked with us about all things Metallo, including who built him, why he hates the Blur and whether he'll return later this season...

Talk about your rude awakening! In this spoilery clip from this week's episode of Smallville, Metallo, John Corben (Brian Austin Green) wakes up on an operating table to discover he is the recipient of some unwanted 'improvements.'
At first, Corben is shocked. Once he realizes he has super powers, though, Metallo is hell bent to go face to face with the red-blue-blur, Aka Clark Kent. Something tells me he won't be very successful. Call it a hunch.
Brian Austin Green (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) Continues His Role As John Corben — After being struck by a truck, John Corben (guest star Brian Austin Green) wakes up alone in an abandoned apartment as a man-machine with a Kryptonite heart. Corben realizes he now has superhuman strength and sets out to exact revenge on the Red-Blue Blur, who he perceives to be an irresponsible vigilante. Against Clark’s (Tom Welling) wishes, »
