If you're spending hours a day typing away at your computer, why not do it with some style? The technophile community at Drop has created a collection of custom keyboards and other computer accessories inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved fantasy series "The Lord of the Rings."
Taking cues from the various realms of Middle-earth (which we'll soon return to on the big screen with new movies), Drop's keyboards and keycaps utilize various fantastical languages, including Elvish, Dwarvish, and even the sparsely spoken Black Speech that adorns the Ring of Power, to give your mundane keyboard a beautiful upgrade. Don't worry if you don't speak any of those languages fluently; these keyboards still have English where needed to define keys you might not use frequently.
Take a look at Drop's "Lord of the Rings" keyboard collection, as well as some of their other computer accessories that can take your workspace into Middle-earth.

Actor Rohan Gurbaxani, who is set to feature in ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, recalled how when he auditioned for the role, director Arjun Varain Singh told him that “only a Rohan can play a Rohan”.
The story behind Rohan bagging the film is an interesting one.
“It was a long audition process. I did about two rounds of auditions and then nothing happened for six months. I then got a call to audition again, but didn’t end up getting the role, someone else did.
“However, a week post rejection, to my surprise, I got a call to audition again for the same role” the actor said.
What worked in Rohan’s favour was that director Arjun Varain Singh had already seen his potential on ‘Made In Heaven 2’. And the involvement of Rohan ended up changing the character’s name as well.
He shared: “When I was in my last round of auditioning,...

The 2023 FX series A Murder at the End of the World, is an example of a character study that is nicely wrapped in the well-known world of murder mysteries. Recently, the whodunits have gained huge popularity, and Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij cashed in on the sought-after sentiment and created the miniseries, which benefits from its elegant treatment of the milieu it was set in and some nuanced performances. The character of the 24-year-old amateur sleuth named Darby Hart, played earnestly by Emma Corrin, is one of the more interesting characters in a miniseries, which requires the actor to square with two different time periods, sometimes in the same episode. There should be a noticeable change in such a character over the years, and we get to witness it in her performance.

In the last episode of Peacock’s Mrs. Davis, Simone (Betty Gilpin) finally gets to the truth behind the seemingly omnipotent algorithm of the title. But whatever dramatic origin story Simone might have expected, she doesn’t get it. Instead, she discovers that what Mrs. Davis has really been all this time … is a Buffalo Wild Wings app wildly overdelivering on its customer service directive.
The reveal is so hilariously, gob-smackingly stupid that even Simone, who’s spent the series trying to destroy Mrs. Davis, looks a little crushed. But it also feels perfectly apt for the year of ChatGPT and OpenAI. As the AI-driven future once only imagined in sci-fi inched toward mainstream reality, shows like Mrs. Davis, Black Mirror and A Murder at the End of the World leaned in for a closer look — and discovered not some sleek and shiny panacea, but our own human foibles reflected back at us.

FX’s A Murder at the End of the World limited series finale has arrived, and with it the shocking revelation of the killer’s identity. Episode seven, “Retreat,” begins with all the guests gathered 164’ underground in Andy’s suite. Andy (Clive Owen) talks about why Ray – his AI assistant – chose that depth, revealing it was because Andy asked him to protect his family from anything that could happen on the surface of the earth.
As Andy continues to discuss Ray, he brings the conversation back around to how someone is trying to tarnish his reputation. Andy declares that he’s going to keep everyone there until he figures out who’s setting him up.
Lu Mei (Joan Chen) didn’t betray him and is still confused about why he invited her.

The finale of the miniseries A Murder at the End of the World came to reveal who the killer was, but if you have been following the series, you pretty much could see that it was going to subvert all your expectations. The seventh episode of the series morphed into a moral lesson about AI after switching from the whodunnit model of storytelling. All the strings were nicely tied up at the end, but in an attempt to give a radically twisted ending to the miniseries, it forced itself to go into a territory that was emotionally too dry. The FX series created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij will be remembered for the atmosphere it built and the emotional investment in the interpersonal dynamics of its characters, if not the ending. The show was so meticulous about driving its points home, especially the details of Bill Farrah and Darby Hart’s relationship,...

This article contains spoilers for A Murder at the End of the World episode 7.
The marketing material for FX‘s A Murder at the End of the World describes it as “a mystery series with a new kind of detective at the helm.” That detective is lead character Darby Hart (Emma Corin) and she is indeed a new kind of sleuth. Darby is the consummate Gen-z investigator. She is obsessed with true crime, has elite hacking skills, and likes skinny Midwestern boys with tattoos.
But focusing on all the ways in which Darby is different from your typical detective can distract from the ways in which she’s the same. Namely: she’s really good at this stuff – like Sherlock Holmes-level good. After people start dying at the retreat hosting by reclusive tech billionaire Andy Ronson (Clive Owen), there’s really no question for the audience as to whether...

There's a "Mister Police, I gave you all the clues" quality to the big reveal in Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij's stylish whodunit A Murder at the End of the World. For the past seven episodes, Gen Z sleuth Darby Hart (Emma Corrin) has slowly investigated the murder of ex-boyfriend Bill Farrah (Harris Dickinson) and two other guests — off-grid activist Rohan (Javed Khan) and astronaut Sian (Alice Braga) — at the remote retreat hosted by enigmatic billionaire Andy Ronson (Clive Owen).
