Cate Blanchett has worked with some of the most successful actors of all time. On top of being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she has proved herself to be a force to be reckoned with, having multiple Oscar nominations and two wins under her belt. Such a diverse career has required her to star alongside the best that the industry has to offer. Now and then, that happens to be Brad Pitt.
Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button [Paramount Pictures]The pair have become quite familiar with each other, having worked together a couple of times. Their most famous project, however, has to be The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. While the film was very well received critically, it would seem that the filming process was not very easy for Blanchett because of Pitt.

Thor and Captain Marvel, at various points, have been labeled the strongest Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, showing great feats of strength at various points in their tenure as superheroes. Be it Captain Marvel’s fight against Thanos, or Thor’s battle with Hela, these characters have routinely proven themselves to be strong and competent fighters.
Reed Richards/ Mr. Fantastic in Marvel Comics
However, with a recent change in Marvel Comics, the Fantastic Four might have the Avengers beat, especially Reed Richards and Sue Storm (who have both served on the team). Reed Richards and Sue Storm were both exposed to a cosmic storm, which altered their bodies, giving Richards the power of a malleable body and Sue the ability to turn invisible.

Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead was one of the most happening shows that graced television long before the author achieved more success with Invincible. Being a comic book first, the show had a slew of plot points that it did not adapt from the comics, which Jeffery Dean Morgan wishes was not the case.

Josh Brolin reveals if Thanos will return in Marvel movies ( Photo Credit – IMDb )
It has been five years since the superheroes defeated and killed Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers: Endgame. Played by Josh Brolin, the Mad Titan is cited as one of the best supervillains in the MCU. Among the many villains that have come and gone in the Marvel movies, fans can’t get enough of him and, of course, Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston).
After Endgame, The MCU has moved from the infinity saga to the multiversal saga. We have jumped from Phase 3 to Phase 5 now. But hardly anything has appealed to the fans, except for Spiderman: No Way Home, Loki series, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings. On various social media platforms, fans often discuss how the MCU could bring back Thanos and revive the lifeless movies and series. There have been several rumours in the past.

What exactly are Thor's powers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? His actual threshold of strength and durability is tested several times throughout the MCU, but they fluctuate wildly. In one film, Thor (Christ Hemsworth) has trouble besting Captain America (Chris Evans) in hand-to-hand combat, but in another, he can seemingly withstand the heat of a solar flare. In one film, his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) states explicitly that they aren't gods, but in "Thor: Love and Thunder," Thor travels to Mount Olympus to converse with other deities, proving that he is indeed a god.
Perhaps Thor's powers need to fluctuate and remain unclear for dramatic reasons. If you have a literal god on your superhero team, why do you need other members at all? One might think that Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, would be able to slam his hammer into the face of any alien attacker and...

Marvel's "What If..." has employed a mix of reprisals and recasts from the movies. Captain Peggy Carter may have the super soldier serum, and Strange Supreme went down a darker path, but they're still played by Hayley Atwell and Benedict Cumberbatch like the originals. Tragically, T'Challa-as-Star-Lord also went down as Chadwick Boseman's final performance.
On the other hand: Mick Wingert fills in for Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Lake Bell plays Black Widow instead of Scarlett Johansson, and season 1 big bad Infinity Ultron was voiced by Ross Marquand, not James Spader.
"What If..." season 2 brings in two characters not seen in season 1, Hela (the villain of "Thor: Ragnarok") and Wenwu (the villain of "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings"), and pairs them up in episode 7: "What If... Hela Found the Ten Rings?" The episode splits the difference on recasting: Wenwu is voiced by Feodor Chin,...

Season 2 of Marvel’s What If…? is full of great episodes, from Nebula’s film noir mystery on Xandar to Hela’s well-earned redemption arc. But there’s one episode that stands above the rest and introduces a new powerful hero into the MCU.
What If…Kahhori Reshaped the World? tells the story of Kahhori (Devery Jacobs) and her tribe, who live in a world where the Tesseract crash-landed on Earth in the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. The Tesseract resides in a lake, which transports those who enter its waters to another realm full of harmony and unimaginable power. Kahhori is transported there while running from the Spanish colonizers who seek to take her homeland. Kahhori convinces the now-immortal members of this realm to travel back home with her to stop the invasion and protect their people.

Cate Blanchett came back to the MCU for the first time since 2017's Thor: Ragnarok for her role as Hela.
Hela and her ravenous army of the dead became one of fans' favorite parts of Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok, which remains the highest-grossing movie of the Thor quadrilogy.
And while the villain made a hilarious appearance via a Melissa McCarthy portrayal in Thor: Love and Thunder, Blanchett has not been seen as Hela since her encounter with Surter in the God of Thunder's third solo film.

The second season of What If? has been dropped by Marvel Studios in a year that has seen both the rise and fall of the MCU. The final Guardians of the Galaxy and the second season of Loki were absolute triumphs, while the rest was pretty much a let down. I’m not even going to go into the Jonathan Major fiasco, but that must have hurt the MCU, and the future of this thing doesn’t look too bright. Considering all these, it was essential for Marvel to wrap up this year strong, and the good news is that What If? has been quite successful in doing that. With the anthology format, it was a given that some of the episodes would not be that good, while others might just be extraordinary. And that’s exactly how it went. We’re going to rank the new batch of episodes...

What If? Season 2, episode 9, wrapped up with a fierce battle between Captain Peggy Carter, our newly introduced Avenger, Kahhori, and the main antagonist of the multiverse war. This episode is once again a continuation of the previous episode, which ended with Peggy drinking at a bar while Dr. Strange Supreme approached her. Episode 9 opened with Peggy Carter conversing with Dr. Strange, who sought her help on something he was working on. To achieve that, Dr. Strange Supreme needed Carter to kill a villain from an alternate universe, so Peggy agreed to help him. Peggy demanded to portal back to her home universe in exchange for help, but after she accompanied Dr. Strange to his destination, she recognized who the real villain of this universe was.

But what if the stories you knew about these heroes changed? That’s the premise behind “What If…?” which debuts its second season on Disney+ on Friday, Dec. 22. The animated series shows what might result if small changes were made in the origin stories of fan-favorite heroes like Iron Man, Captain America and Thor. Taika Waititi revealed on a new episode of the “SmartLess” podcast that he had no interest in joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a director. The filmmaker has directed two MCU movies: 2017’s “Thor: Ragnarok,” which is widely considered one of the best Marvel movies, and 2022’s “Thor: Love and Thunder,” which is one of the franchise’s most polarizing. The Oscar winner said he originally accepted the “Ragnarok” gig for money, as he had just had his second child.
“You know what? I had no interest in doing one of those films,” Waititi said. “It wasn’t on my plan for my career as an auteur. But I was poor and I’d just had a second child, and I thought, ‘You know what, this would be a great opportunity to feed these children.'”
“And ‘Thor,’ let’s face it — it was probably the least popular franchise,” he continued.

Things are decidedly twisted in the multiverse, as teased in a first trailer for Season 2 of Disney+ and Marvel’s animated What If…? anthology, which premieres Friday, Dec. 22 and will release a new episode each of nine “nights.”
Season 2 continues the journey as The Watcher (voiced by Jeffrey Wright) guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing new and familiar faces throughout the MCU — including fan-favorite characters such as Nebula, Hela (wait, Hela is a fan favorite?) and Happy Hogan.
