Has it really been 20 years? We hadn't noticed. Prepare to feel old, because this week romantic comedy classic Four Weddings and a Funeral celebrates a landmark anniversary.
The Richard Curtis-penned film delivered exactly what its title promised and so much more. It was funny, charming and packed with brilliant performances from a stellar Brit cast. Without it Hugh Grant would never have hit the Hollywood A-list and Wet Wet Wet wouldn't have spent what felt like an eternity at the top of the UK singles chart.
But what are the cast up to two decades on? We take a look at the key players then and now below...
Hugh Grant
Hugh Grant was a respected supporting actor in the Brit film industry prior to Four Weddings thanks to roles in Remains of the Day and Sirens. Things changed overnight after his role as the ever-so-British and lovelorn Charles.

Co-created by the people who brought us The Bill, here's a peculiar and rather worthy hybrid of fact and fiction – a fake fly-on-the-wall police procedural, starring a former real-life detective chief superintendent (Jane Antrobus). It's certainly plodding and humdrum enough to be authentic – though does chuck in the odd Columbo-style red herring to keep us interested. In this series opener, Di Jane and DS Ben Shaw (Hollyoaks' Ben Hull) investigate the case of an care home resident who's had his money stolen. Ali Catterall

Previously on Teen Wolf, an elderly feller rolled into town with a literal saber in one hand and and some old people medicines in the other. He ripped through an omega werewolf with his sword and chewed through the scenery with his Canadian lilt, and also he killed a lot of people by proxy. Derek made a pack out of Rosewood's most volatile teenagers because who's going to say no when that guy walks up and says, "Your neck, can I bite it?" Scott made his own pack, with Stiles and Allison and sometimes Lydia, but then Allison deserted him for Grandpa's Hoary Horde. Jackson morphed into a mythical madman known as a kanima, which is basically a soulless lizard who will do the bidding of anyone who gives him a friendship bracelet. And Stiles ... well, Stiles carried Derek around on his back, hauled Derek around in a swimming pool,...

These days, when one J.J. Abrams series goes off the air (as will be happening soon with the series finale of Lost), another must rise up to take its place. Thus, NBC has picked up the latest television offering from Abrams. Undercovers is about married ex-cia agents, brought back into the fold when their friend and former fellow spy goes missing. Naturally, the couple discover that their marriage is much more exciting when they're working together as spies.
Our married pair are played by Boris Kodjoe (Damon Carter in Showtime's Soul Food series, Anthony Stone in Surrogates and the upcoming Resident Evil: Afterlife) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (who played Tish, Martha's sister, on Doctor Who). Their CIA boss is played by Gerald "Major Dad" McRaney, which is awesome.
Abrams co-wrote and directed the pilot episode and will serve as executive producer and co-creator of the series. Will this be a return to Alias form for Abrams?...

Established 1974! Our news column seeks True Blood love.
The Remake Game
Whether we need it or not, there’s a Brave New World in the works. And such people in it! This time, as Variety reports, it’s Ridley Scott (who’ll produce and maybe direct) and Leonardo DiCaprio (who’ll also produce and maybe star) taking on the Aldous Huxley Sf classic. As fans may recall, it was previously adapted twice—somewhat indifferently—as a 1980 TV movie starring Keir Dullea and a 1998 production with Leonard Nimoy. Maybe a third version will get it right or at least more right; it’s unlikely it could get more wrong. Parhad Safinia is scripting. Universal will release. For other details, see this link.
Updates
Speaking of dating, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, True Blood co-stars and love interests on the show, have been dating for some time in real life. And now they’re engaged.
