Clark Gillies was born on April 7, 1954 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. He was married to Pam Goettler. He died on January 21, 2022 in Greenlawn, Long Island, New York, USA.
Left winger with the National Hockey League's New York Islanders
(1974-1975 thru 1985-1986) and Buffalo Sabres (1986-1987 thru 1987-1988).
Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, 2002.
Played minor league baseball in the Houston Astros organization.
Along with three teammates from the New York Islanders, Clark Gillies
posed in the February 1983 issue of Penthouse magazine for a fashion
layout promoting men's underwear. In this layout he wore nothing but a
smile and a pair of briefs.
