An Avengers superfan claims to have seen Endgame 110 times since it was released – is there a film that kept you coming back?
In the six weeks since the release of Avengers: Endgame, Agustin Alanis has proven his superfan credentials, racking up a grand total of 110 viewings – an average of two a day. His claim means he will have beaten the current Guinness World Record holder for most times seeing the same movie in the cinema, a title previously held by Tony Mitchell, who saw Infinity War, the precursor to Endgame, 103 times.

If there was any doubt Avengers: Endgame would surpass Avatar‘s worldwide box office record before it leaves theaters, one fan of the movie just might singlehandedly break it himself.
The Marvel flick has less than $60 million to go until it’s number one, and many people are rooting for it to get there. Having seen the film 107 times (as of this writing) already, Agustin Alanis is proof that there are heroes out there who don’t wear capes. Unless he did every time he went to see it. And if that’s the case, I’m totally not going to judge.
The Twitter user/Avengers super fan has been silently working his way to a new Guinness world record for viewings of the same movie and today, he passed the previous record set by Tony Mitchell, who saw Infinity War a whopping 103 times. Someone rename this guy Vision, because he’s an absolute machine!

Breaking a box office record, or two, is no easy feat, but it’s something that Avengers: Infinity War did frequently this year – with ease, mind you. In fact, the Anthony and Joe Russo-directed blockbuster toppled so many ticket booth touchstones that Rotten Tomatoes compiled every box office record broken by the nineteenth McU entry into a manageable laundry list, ideal for quick reference.
Still, it’d be nice if the titular supergroup could sit back, relax and watch someone else undertake the daunting task of breaking a record. Thankfully, then, for them at least, there’s a pretty crazy super fan out there who’s doing just that.
If you recall, last month, the web caught wind of Nem: The Infinity Watcher, a Marvel fan who’d bafflingly seen the film 43 times. Keep in mind, though, this was way back in June. Since then, that number’s ballooned.

Last week, the web caught wind of Nem: The Infinity Watcher, a Marvel superfan who had bafflingly seen Avengers: Infinity War 43 times. Needless to say, once the Russo brothers heard of him, they slid into his DMs and invited him to the world premiere of Avengers 4. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, IMAX gave Nem 50 free tickets to keep the unbelievable streak going.
Fast forward to today, with the superfan roughly at viewing number 47, and Nem: The Infinity Watcher Aka Tony Mitchell had another envious honor bestowed upon him. During an interview with ComicBook.com, Joe Russo surprised him with an invite to the set of Avengers 4.
“We’ll pick a great day for you when most of the cast is there,” said Russo, as Nem sat, popcorn in hand, preparing for yet another viewing of Infinity War at AMC Concord Mills in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. According to Russo,...

Film: ‘Flood’; Cast: Robert Carlyle, Jessalyn Gilsig, Tom Courtenay, Joanne Whalley; Director: Tony Mitchell; Rating: *
Films dealing with catastrophe are a Hollywood specialty. One director, Ronald Emmirich, has even made it his business to destroy the world with newer natural calamities in his films. That a British film can match this effects extravaganza yet is wishful thinking.
The British film ‘Flood’ fails in every department.
A storm at sea coincides with high tide and leads to water rushing up the Thames, flooding most of London. When millions of lives are threatened, you can.

A New British movie is to tell the story of the ancient cataclysm that's believed to be the basis for the Atlantis legend.
The BBC has announced the TV film, to be called Atlantis and directed by Primeval's Tony Mitchell, will "tell the dramatic story of the greatest natural disaster to shake the ancient world, a disaster that triggered the downfall of a civilisation and spawned a legend."
The film will be made using the same techniques as Zack Snyder's Spartan war epic 300 and will be accompanied by a documentary looking at the historical evidence.
Around 1620 BC a gigantic volcano in the Aegean Sea stirred from its 19,000-year slumber.
The eruption tore apart the island of Thera, producing massive tsunamis that flooded the nearby island of Crete, the centre of Europe's first great civilisation - the Minoans.
This apocalyptic event, many experts now believe, provided the inspiration for the legend of Atlantis.

LONDON -- U.K. based production house Power has inked a deal with Lionsgate U.K. to secure a theatrical release for Flood, the company's first foray into movie production, it announced Thursday.
The movie will air on commercial net ITV early next year after Lionsgate has rolled it out on a limited release in central London, a Power spokesperson said.
The cast of the $30 million movie, directed by Tony Mitchell, includes Robert Carlyle, Jessalyn Gilsi, David Suchet and Joanne Whalley.
Flood, scripted by Power founder Justin Bodle and Matthew Cope, is based on the book of the same name by Richard Doyle and produced by Bodle and independent producer Peter McAleese. It details the story of the aftermath of a tidal wave that swamps the British capital.
