Naomie Harris, Jameela Jamil, Joel Fry and Olivia Lee have joined the cast of the British romantic comedy ‘Lola and Freddie.’
Described as a reimaging of 2012’s ‘Celeste and Jesse Forever,’ the story follows a couple who were once inseparable and totally in love but now, in their 40s and having grown in different directions, are getting a divorce. Lola is thriving in her career while Freddie continues to chase his dream of becoming a screenwriter. When a big studio hires Freddie and rekindles a relationship with an old flame, he matures and aligns more with what Lola desires in their marriage.
With Freddie’s change in fortune, Lola starts to miss a life she thought she no longer wanted. With newly separate worlds colliding again, Lola and Freddie are forced to confront the uncomfortable truth that they might still be in love with each other. But a major development...

Alan Davies has suggested that his Dave show As Yet Untitled would never be made by the BBC and ITV - who would be too "terrified" to commission it.
The show sees a group of comedians sitting around and chatting about various tales, but the only preparation involved is that the guests bring a story with them.
"It's a dream job for me - I don't have to do any preparation," Davies joked. "I have the same approach I have for Qi - the less I do, the better it is!"
But he went on to say: "You would never get this to fly on the BBC or ITV. They would just be terrified: 'What are you going to say?' 'Don't know.'"
And Davies suggested that there are still some nerves about the show, explaining: "There's a surprising amount of talk about how many stories they should bring,...

Viewers are used to the whole singing reality show rundown at this point: A bunch of people sing, some get sent home in tears and one competitor comes out victorious. But new series "Opening Act" is singing a different tune with a format in which the artists are all winners from the get-go and no one goes home defeated.
Producer Nigel Lythgoe and a posse of industry vets like Martina McBride, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, and Jason Derulo handpick unknown singers, songwriters and musicians from the internet to open for a major act like Nicki Minaj, Rod Stewart, Brad Paisley and Gym Class Heroes. Comedian Olivia Lee plays host and fairy godmother of sorts to the unsuspecting performers, surprising them with the good news.
Wentz and Lee tell Zap2it just what it's like to give these up-and-comers their big break.

Olivia Lee had to look "really, really disgusting" in the new series of 'Dirty Sexy Funny'. The actress plays an array of characters in the comedy sketch show and says she and producers wanted to push the boundaries in the latest run because they wanted viewers to still be entertained. Talking about the hidden camera stunt series, Olivia exclusively told Bang Showbiz: "We've got a load of new characters. We've got prosthetics now. We've been really experimental with the characters - we've got like an old woman and we've just taken it that step further and really tried to experiment with it.

America's Funniest Home Videos executive producer Vin Di Bona has teamed with NBC for Comedy Colosseum, a one-hour reality pilot based on the hit Japanese show Theiromonea.
Hosted by Saturday Night Live alum Dean Edwards and British comedian Olivia Lee, the show features comedians vying for a $10,000 prize in an arena in front of a live audience that decides who wins or loses. Each comedian will be judged solely on the laughter of randomly selected and unsuspecting members of the crowd.
" 'Comedy Colosseum' challenges the creativity and talent of our performers like no other show before us," said Di Bona, who is executive producing the pilot with Peter Schankowitz, Al Edgington and Greg Bellon. It's belly-laugh funny.
Ron de Moraes will direct the pilot for the show, which is based on a format licensed from Tokyo Broadcasting System.
