After his zombie thriller Train to Busan had a very successful run last year garnering around $135 million worldwide — and interest in a Hollywood remake — director Yeon Sang-ho has begun shooting his next feature.
Titled Psychokinesis, it’s intended to be an action-packed black comedy film, one that’s anticipated to have a 2018 release per Danny Lee, director of international business at Contents Panda. As reported by Screen Daily, Ryu Seung-ryong leads the film as an “ordinary guy who suddenly finds he has superpowers he can use to help his spirited daughter (Shim Eun-kyung) and the people around them, but also runs into trouble in the process.”
Also starring Train to Busan‘s Jung Yu-mi, the director adds, “I’m honored to be working with these good actors and staff again. I’ll make a good film that lives up to everyone’s expectations.” In what sounds to be as close...

Train to Busan, Yeon Sang-Ho’s smart South Korean zombie thriller, may already be playing in theaters here in the States, but that hasn’t curbed chatter of a remake.
Word comes by way of The Hollywood Reporter, revealing earlier this week that both Fox and Sony are eyeing Sang-Ho’s actioner as a prime candidate for the Hollywood treatment and, as is often the case when a low-key hit begins making waves, a bidding war has sparked into life between Fox, Sony and rival French studios.
Contents Panda currently holds international rights to Train to Busan on behalf of Seoul-based production company Next Entertainment World, and though he declined to name names, the company’s senior manager Danny Lee confirmed that, “several major Hollywood studios as well as top French and European companies have made inquiries about remake rights, with some even making offers. Men’s underwear brand Stoneman is courting controversy with an interactive video in which a woman masturbates next to an image of the viewer’s face.
The raunchy interactive video (possibly Nsfw) allows the user to upload of a photo of themselves, which is then used in the video.
The video leads the user to Stonemen’s website and gives them the option to buy some Stonemen underwear.
The campaign was developed by Arnold Furnace.
A censured version is running as a teaser campaign.
Paul Fenton, joint national creative director of Arnold Furnace told Mumbrella: “We pushed it as hard as we could. The client was up for taking as many risks as possible. It was one of those things where we wanted to make an impact and not die wondering what could have been.”
The clip on YouTube aims to tease and push users to create the interactive ad campaign themselves.
