A. Lawrence Haskins was born on October 14, 1970 in Tacoma, Washington. He is the fourth son and eighth child born to the union of Louis and Lucille Haskins.
Lawrence published his first novel, The Whisper of Serpents, to a groundswell of grassroots readership in 2009. That same year, Lawrence founded ALH Live!, an organization he created to stream interviews live from entertainment industry events and specially curated venues from around the continental United States. Haskins and his production company, 3irty6 Films, handled all producing, writing and directing tasks associated with each interview. Hollywood Walk of Fame recipient and multi award-winning director F. Gary Gray, Super Bowl champion Lawyer Milloy, Grammy Award-winning singer Mya and, American Music Award winning R&B Group H-Town are some of the notable guests Haskins had the privilege of interviewing for his ALH Live! platform..
"What Remains: A Short Story Trilogy" was published on August 28, 2015, the day his daughter Paige was born. It is the follow up to Haskins debut novel, "The Whisper of Serpents".
Shortly after the publication of his second book, Lawrence began adapting screenplays based on the story and characters created in his novels. Haskins, alongside industry partners, is producing the theatrical adaptations of his novels under his 3irty6 Films banner.
Lawrence resides with his wife Tiffany and their two children.
