- Donna Persico is the granddaughter of Larry O'Reilly, a successful cinematographer and director, well known for his documentary short series "This is America."
She began her acting career in Northern California, where she performed on stage, and appeared in numerous commercials.
In 1991 she moved to Los Angeles to study at the Playhouse West. While there she performed on stage, and in film and television, including 3 seasons as a trauma nurse on NBC's hit drama ER.
Her National commercials most notably include: Chase Bank, Under Armour, Proctor and Gamble, Walmart, Dr. Pepper, Chef Boyardee, Stop Smoking Campaign, Aids Awareness, and many more.
In 2005 Donna produced, wrote and directed her first feature film, Only For You. Committed to writing good roles for great actresses, she has focused her talents on writing, producing and directing.
