Exclusive: Two well-known UK indies will become one as All3Media’s Objective Media Group consolidates Triple Brew and Betty into a new, as-yet-unnamed single label, Deadline has learned.
The restructure of Objective’s unscripted business means the prodcos’ combined slate, including the likes of The Cube, Lingo, Wheeler Dealers and Bear Grylls series Bear’s Mission With…, will be housed under one roof, with the well-known Betty and Triple Brew labels ceasing to exist. The rejig will mean job losses, we hear.
Objective houses a cluster of indie labels spanning scripted, factual and entertainment. It is one of the UK’s best-known production groups with several bases across the UK and an office in LA. It is owned by All3Media, which is in the throes of being acquired by RedBird Imi in a $1.45B deal.

Joely Richardson is talking about ageism in Hollywood and how she had to pivot to start getting work again.
The Nip/Tuck alum was a guest on ITV’s This Morning, where she opened up about all the projects she’s currently involved in, such as Netflix’s The Gentlemen and One Day and Disney+’s Renegade Nell.
Although Richardson has a lot of work now, it wasn’t always like that, and the actress noticed a change after she turned 50. Richardson recalled that when her agent “retired young to be with her mom,” she was looking for a new agent and didn’t find much luck.
“I went to get another agent, and it was like no one wanted me,” she told the morning show co-hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley. “And so, even though I had Golden Globe nominations, and blah, blah, blah, zero people wanted a woman...

Cat Deeley, longtime presenter of So You Think You Can Dance, has revealed details of her experience being caught up in a Los Angeles shopping mall shooting scare that made her want to leave her home in Hollywood and return to live in the UK.
The Sun newspaper reports that Deeley, about to take over hosting duties on ITV flagship daytime show This Morning, wanted to move away from the US after her family were caught in a shopping mall shooting in 2019.
The paper recounts how the presenter, her husband Paddy and young son Milo were forced to take cover during a lunch outing in a Shake Shack restaurant in Century City, Los Angeles. When sirens sounded, they were told to seek shelter after a disgruntled ex-Amazon employee. Deeley is quoted in The Sun remembering:

The Masked Singer UK is back for a fourth season, welcoming a new cast of 12 incognito celebrities.
On Sunday (1 January), the top-secret singing series, which sees a number of celebrities dressed in oversized costumes to hide their identity, returned to ITV.
During the opening episode, Cat and Mouse, a duo act, were among the first batch of competitors to perform for the judges by Irving Berlin.
Who are Cat and Mouse?
The clues revealed in the first episode included the number 200,000,000 written on a notepad.
Cat said he was “no stranger to legalities” and liked to “get to the bottom of cases”, as well as knowing “how to spin a tale”. The Vt also showed five different jars of spices lined up.
So far, fans have speculated that the duo could be Spice Girl Emma Bunton and partner Jade Jones. Others have their suspicions that the furry duo are married couple Shirlie and Martin Kemp.

Susanna Reid laughed as she tried to “clean up” an Nsfw interview on Good Morning Britain.
Reid was joined by co-host Ben Shephard on Thursday morning’s (8 December) episode of Gmb on ITV.
The pair were speaking with Italian celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo who was promoting his new cooking show Gino’s Cooking Up Love.
Conversation, however, took a turn when D’Acampo recalled that he once met a “blonde girl with huge… personality”.
The interview featured other sexual innuendos and references as the chef went on to say: “All I was thinking is, ‘Am I going to get laid?’”
“Are we allowed to say that?” asked D’Acampo, leaving Madeley and Reid fumbling for words.
Reid laughed as she said that she was trying to “clean up” the interview.

David Dimbleby condemned the “chaos” engulfing Liz Truss’s Conservative government during an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Thursday (6 October).
The veteran broadcaster was interviewed following the Tory party’s annual conference, held in Birmingham earlier this week.
Truss came to the conference amid widespread divisions within the party, exacerbated by the publication of a “mini-budget” last month that left the economy in crisis.
Speaking to Gmb hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, Dimbleby said: “It’s chaotic isn’t it. I’ve never seen quite such chaos.
“It’s not just the chaos of a party that’s clearly disintegrating before our eyes in the Conservative Party. It’s riven with disagreement. What was going on in Birmingham... unbelievable.”
However, the former Question Time presenter added: “It seems to me in politics these things, they do kind of come and go. I think our politics will settle at some point.

Some men are adept at intellectualizing their sexual desires; put another way, they spend an awful lot of time thinking and talking about what makes the blood flow to their peeners. John Mayer, who gave an infamous Playboy interview referring to his “Benetton heart and David Duke cock,” is one such example; Thomas Middleditch, who gave another interview to that same publication explaining how he finagled his wife into agreeing to an open relationship after they got married, is another.

Soccer Aid for Unicef 2019, broadcast live and exclusively on ITV and Stv this week, has raised a record-breaking £6,774,764 so far – over £1m more than last year’s on the night total – for Unicef’s vital work keeping children around the world happy, healthy and safe to play.
This amount was raised thanks to the generous support of the UK public, ITV and Stv viewers, and the UK government who have matched all donations so far, doubling the difference made to children’s lives. This figure has smashed all previous records for money raised on the night.
The eagerly anticipated match took place in London for the first time in over a decade, packing out Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge Stadium with a whopping 39,836 in attendance. “I’ve heard that before,” Lundgren told Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid on “Good Morning Britain” (via Digital Spy). “I don’t really believe it, but we’ll see.”

Florian Munteanu, the actor who plays Drago’s son, Victor Drago, in “Creed II,” also wasn’t sure about Stallone’s proclamation, guessing that he still might make cameos as Rocky in future installments.

Carrie Underwood mistook Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard for a married couple on 'Good Morning Britain'. The American country singer was being interviewed by the presenters on the ITV show this morning (12.11.15) when she made the embarrassing mistake. Ben said: ''She [Susanna] has been singing [country] all morning. It makes a change from 'Frozen' to be honest, it's a blessed relief.'' And Carrie, 32, laughed: ''Are you one of those households?'' While also laughing Susanna, 44, corrected Carrie, saying: ''We're not married by the way.'' The 'Jesus Take the Wheel' hitmaker was so embarrassed, she quickly replied: ''Oh oh, I know...'' And...

Have something bad to say to Caroline Flack online? Don't bother, because she filters out criticism.
The X Factor presenter told Holly Willoughby and Ben Shephard on This Morning that she doesn't let social media comments get to her because you can't please everybody.
The X Factor 2015: See the Top 12 move into their swanky new home
"You have to filter it out," she said. "Everyone has got an opinion, and it can sometimes be on what you're wearing, how you look, things you say, how you breathe.
"With a show like X Factor, you've got to be ready for it and you've got to have thick skin."
Flack co-hosted her first X Factor shows with Olly Murs over the weekend, during the live Judges' House stage.

Piers Morgan's threats have come to pass, as he has officially joined the Good Morning Britain presenting team.
He will co-host the ITV breakfast show with Susanna Reid three days a week from November.
"I am very excited at the prospect of waking up at 3am every morning, and even more excited by the thought of how annoying Susanna is going to find me after a few months," Morgan said.
"Good Morning Britain is a great show with a terrific team on and off screen. I'm looking forward to it enormously."
ITV Director of Daytime Helen Warner said: "We loved having Piers on the show earlier this year, so we're delighted that he's joining us permanently.
"He is an excellent interviewer and a great broadcaster, who fits in brilliantly with Gmb's family of presenters."

Susanna Reid and David Beckham. It's happened before and, since his most recent appearance on the couch, viewers have suggested that she's been flirting with him again (to be fair, he was the one to say she was wearing an "amazing" dress).
Susanna's actually said before that she hates being called a flirt, and fair enough. But there are plenty of other reasons to love her:
1. She is a proper fan girl
Witness her interview with Luke Evans, when she asked what it was like biting people (for a vampire film, obviously) and he offered to demonstrate. Giggles and 'I can't believe this is my life' looks - we totally relate. How refreshing to see someone completely and utterly failing to play it cool.
2. She bloody loves a fart joke
After a suspicious rasp from Richard Arnold, Susanna gets the giggles so badly she can barely say her next link.

Piers Morgan was such a big hit on ITV's Good Morning Britain that he may be about to sign a permanent deal.
The TV personality and journalist has claimed that he expects to join up with the morning show on a regular basis in the near future, but hasn't elaborated yet.
Breaking News: As I confirmed on @itvthismorning, I've been offered a permanent slot on @Gmb & hope to conclude the deal very soon.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) September 3, 2015
This deal could mean that he is replacing one of the co-hosts on a permanent basis, or that he will appear regularly in the same manner as Eamonn Holmes or Amanda Holden on This Morning.
Failing that, he could appear as some kind of regular correspondent on all things that tickle Piers Morgan's boat.

Good Morning Britain had an awkward ending today (August 4) as the studio was evacuated due to a fire alarm on live TV.
Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard were just about to interview Emmerdale's Charley Webb and Anthony Quinlan before they suddenly had to bring it to an abrupt halt as a loud alarm rang out.
Shephard said: "Our fire alarm appears to be going off in the studio! Does this mean we evacuate the studio?"
After a bit of confusion, they added: "I think if we hear the fire alarm it's probably a good idea to do so."
After they scuttled off, pre-recorded footage of the show was played out, with a message reading: "Sorry for the interruption to our normal programme. We'll be back to the Lorraine studio as soon as possible."
Lorraine finally began at 8.51am with stand-in presenter Jenni Falconer apologising for the delay: "Good morning,...

Even the queen can commit a faux pax. Helen Mirren was given a slap on the wrist when she appeared on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday morning, where she accidentally swore on live TV, prompting a hilarious response from the Oscar winner, who appeared a bit perplexed by the hosts' reaction to her slip-up. The 70-year-old Woman in Gold star was recounting a story about a camping trip she took in the eighties with then-boyfriend Liam Neeson, telling presenters Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, "I love camping and I still do and I miss camping, my husband unfortunately doesn't want to camp... She may be a Dame but Helen Mirren certainly doesn't give a damn when it comes to turning the air royal blue in public - and she's at it again.
The Oscar winner brought equal amounts of class and filth to the Good Morning Britain sofa this morning (July 28), although you can judge for yourselves whether the Queen star's potty mouth was really such a punishable crime.
Talking about a camping trip to in Cornwall with her former boyfriend Liam Neeson, the 70-year-old matter-of-factly recalled how it "pissed with rain", which was enough to send ITV into a panicked tizzy.
Presenters Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway immediately jumped in and apologised, with Shephard nervously adding: "You can't say things like that first thing in the morning."
But she's got good form when it comes to dishing out the swears. Last year, Mirren made headlines for delivering all manner of expletives...

Consider yourselves warned: Piers Morgan will be back on the Good Morning Britain sofa next month.
The controversial broadcaster - who hosted the breakfast show for a week in April - will again fill in for Ben Shephard, who's off on his holidays.
But he'll only be on the programme for three days, from July 13 to July 15.
Morgan had mixed reviews for his time on Good Morning Britain in April, which in his first show saw him compare politician Ed Balls to Darth Vader and laugh off a contributor's swearing.
It seems that Susanna Reid will be pleased to be on the sofa with him again, as she previously suggested that it is a "real privilege" working with Morgan.
On the other hand, someone who probably won't be tuning in to watch is John Cleese, who hit the headlines recently after branding Morgan a "chancer" who "hasn't been talented for...

Good Morning Britain is being investigated by Ofcom over Nigel Farage's recent appearance.
The ITV breakfast show is accused of breaching impartiality rules when the Ukip leader was interviewed by Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard on May 1.
The presenters asked Farage about his chances of being elected as MP for South Thanet, but failed to reflect the position of other candidates standing in the constituency.
An Ofcom spokesperson said: "Ofcom is investigating whether the programme was duly impartial to ask Nigel Farage about his prospects of winning the Thanet South constituency without reflecting the position of other candidates."
Farage failed to be elected as an MP and subsequently resigned as leader of Ukip. However, he was reinstated just days later after the party rejected his decision.
Last week, BBC News reporter Norman Smith accidentally used the word "c**t" during a report on Farage and tensions within his party.

Susanna Reid has described working with Piers Morgan as a "real privilege".
The presenter said that her temporary Good Morning Britain co-host "brings a whole new energy to the programme".
Morgan is standing in for Ben Shephard on the ITV breakfast show this week.
Speaking on Loose Women, Reid said: "It's fantastic working with him but he's a force of nature.
"It's like sitting next to a mini tornado and I think whenever anyone gets interviewed by him, they feel like they've been through a tornado!
"You should see the looks on guests' faces after they've been interviewed by Piers. They're like, 'What just happened?!'"
She continued: "It's a real privilege working with him though. He's been there, done it. It's incredible the kind of career he's had.
"It's fantastic and he brings a whole new energy to the programme and I am very much looking forward to working with him again tomorrow,...

I'll admit to once having been something of a Ninja Warrior addict - back in my university days, I would while away many an hour (when I probably should have been writing coursework) watching the original Japanese series, Sasuke, on Challenge.
So I was rather excited when ITV announced plans to bring the format to the UK - just as G4 / NBC had launched American Ninja Warrior in the Us some years previous.
British television - and ITV in particular - is crying out for a new light-entertainment format that's not another song-and-dance contest - and that has at least a little more class than the late, un-lamented Splash!.
Ninja Warrior UK seemed like a strong bet - but now that it's finally reached our screens, it's clear that this is not really the same show as Sasuke.
Ninja Warrior UK is here: Can it possibly be as tough as Japan and Us?...

ITV1's new Saturday night show Ninja Warrior UK hit our screens for the first time tonight.
Based on a Japanese original and already adapted for an American audience, those versions have already been screened on various channels in the UK. ITV has now created its own version of the hit show with British contestants ranging from firefighters and pole fitness instructors to family care workers and wedding singers.
Ben Shephard, Rochelle Humes and Chris Kamara are fronting the show but what was the reaction to it? Digital Spy took a closer look at Twitter during the show to find out.
First impressions were similarities with other shows - which, let's be honest, is expected. An obstacle course show is an obstacle course show:
Itv's ninja warrior is the biggest rip-off of total wipeout, however they are forgiven for getting Chris kamara on my TV

Ninja Warrior is basically Total Wipeout.
