With each of the major late-night hosts back on the air Monday night after all but one missed their chance last week to bask in the biggest legal news since Jay Leno unleashed “The Dancing Itos” during the Oj trial, the only thing missing was a song all of them could sing in unison. Maybe:
“Can You Feel the Gloat Tonight?”
In the wake of the criminal conviction of Donald Trump, there was indeed a whole lot of gloating going on. And why not? The late-night quintet of Stewart, Colbert, Kimmel, Fallon, and Meyers (which might work as the name of a “lawfare” law firm) has been roasting Trump for years, often with something less than unabashed glee because he seemed to always dance just out of reach of any official comeuppance.
Here was comeuppance in abundance—34 counts worth of felonies. Each of the hosts took advantage, some more than others.

Missed Monday’s late-night monologues? We’ve got you covered with our round-up of the night’s best laughs from across the dial.
So, Anything Happen Last Week?
Look, nobody could have predicted how quickly a duly selected New York jury would convict Donald Trump of all 34 counts in his felony trial for falsifying financial records to hide his serial adultery to sway an election. But c’mon, late-night hosts—taking the first week of jury deliberations off for vacation? Well, with only Jimmy Kimmel having had the foresight to schedule new shows last week (thus getting a head start on all the monologue schadenfreude), that just means that Messrs. Colbert Stewart, Meyers, and Fallon all had extra time to kick back, laugh themselves silly at the first-time-ever spectacle of a former United States President being convicted in a criminal court, and then get down to work writing all the...

If you’ve ever wondered what Jimmy Fallon does during commercial breaks on The Tonight Show, a new ad spot has an inventive take on what that might look like.
A promo for the latest collaboration between lifestyle brand Kith and golf equipment company TaylorMade sees Fallon taking his show—desk included—to Monterey, California’s Pebble Beach Golf Links.
The spot opens with Fallon behind a Tonight Show-esque desk, complete with a backdrop of New York City. After he tosses to break, a crew quickly removes the set, plus Fallon’s suit and tie, to reveal that he’s wearing his golf gear underneath. And that the show’s set is situated in the middle of the famed golf course.

First on LateNighter: Late night had a field day after the Will Smith-Chris Rock incident at the Oscars in 2022, but after a long break, Smith is set to guest next Tuesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, reuniting with Questlove in the process.
Smith did appear on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah in 2022, eight months after he slapped Rock onstage at the Academy Awards, in which he sat for an interview with Noah and discussed the slap at length, but he’s otherwise avoided late night.
The actor has a long history with Fallon, whose response to the slap was noticeably more muted than other late-night hosts. Smith guested on the host’s first-ever Tonight Show in 2014 (where he memorably performed with Fallon in “The Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing”), and returned to the program seven more times through 2021.

Jimmy Fallon, the iconic show host has interviewed hundreds of celebrities on his show throughout the years. Unafraid of being a comedian, Fallon texted MCU star Jeremy Renner once when the actor was in the ICU during his snowplow accident.
Jimmy Fallon in a still from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon | NBC Productions
It, as one would expect, was not a normal text, like “How are you?” or “Hope you’re doing okay.” Appearing in a recent interview, Renner revealed what the message contained and it is for sure hilarious!

Jeremy Renner guested on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, the first time since the January 2023 snowplow accident that left the Hawkeye star in critical condition with 38 broken bones.
In fact, Renner had been set to appear on Tonight a year and a half ago just when the accident changed his life. Last night, Renner recalled Fallon texting him at the time, “Dude, you’re trending!”
Renner, looking recuperating and healthy, told Fallon that discussing the accident, which he has done numerous times on TV over the past year, is “pretty cathartic” and “quite healing.”
“I can go on and on about what happened for the 45 minutes of being on the ice,” Renner said, “but the real learning lessons from it — there’s so many great gifts of being tested to your limits, right? Your physical limits, your spiritual limits, emotional limits. I won’t have a bad...

Dolly Parton is known as one of the biggest country music stars ever to live, and she looks fantastic at age 78. It’s no secret that Parton has enhanced her looks by going under the knife — and her famous breasts have been a topic of conversation for years. Parton loves to joke about her chest, and she once joked about taking several rows of audience members out with them while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

There is so much going on in the world right now, Jimmy Fallon told his “Tonight Show” audience Friday night, that it was only appropriate for the late night host to put together a “news mash” of four big stories from the week: Trump’s ongoing hush money trial, the Knicks making it to the NBA playoffs, the newest season of “Bridgerton” being released, and Welch’s newest offering, a boozy canned juice that’s definitely not meant for kids.
“First up, the Trump trial has been going on for weeks,” Fallon began. “It all started when he had a one-night stand with Stormy Daniels.”
“Speaking of rich people having one-night stands, ‘Bridgerton’ is back,” he continued. “New episodes just dropped on Netflix. It’s about a bunch of ladies and lords looking to score. You know who else is looking to score? Everyone in the NBA playoffs.”

Zac Efron may have risen to prominence after starring in the High School Musical trilogy, but he's since reinvented himself in a big way.
Shedding the "frat boy" persona movies like Neighbors and Dirty Grandpa later labelled him with, the actor has shown a darker, far more serious side in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile and The Iron Claw. Now, all eyes are on what Efron does next.
If a new rumour shared by @MyTimeToShineH is to be believed, then it could be a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
We don't have any news on who he'll play, though there are plenty of possibilities. Recently, there have been rumours about Marvel Studios finally moving forward with a Nova TV series, and while the focus is expected to be on Sam Alexander, Efron would arguably make a perfect Richard Rider.

Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show is the latest late-night show to enter the podcast game.

Intro: It’s a story we’ve all heard before. A group of friends stray off the beaten path and end up having to fight for their lives. This has served as the set-up for many classic horror films and thrillers. Back in the early ‘90s, director Stephen Hopkins used it as the set-up for an action movie that has an awesome cast. Emilio Estevez, Cuba Gooding Jr., Jeremy Piven, and Stephen Dorff play the friends fighting to survive. Denis Leary is the leader of the criminal gang out for their blood. Unfortunately, not a lot of people went to see the movie when it was released… but they did make the soundtrack a hit. The movie is called Judgment Night, and it’s time for it to be Revisited.

If you were asked to assemble a two-hour prime time special based on highlights extracted from a contemporary late-night show, your first choice might logically be Jimmy Fallon’s run hosting The Tonight Show.
Why? Simply because Fallon’s show has been so clearly highlight-able over its decade-long run back in New York City, where the NBC late-night franchise created this distinctly American genre of entertainment 70(!) years ago.
Fallon’s Tonight Show has been distinguished by an array of its own style of comedy segments, signature “bits,” SNL-style sketches, all sorts of games, and musical performances, the best of which have not only enjoyed consistent interest on YouTube and social media, but also work well as snippets representing the show’s most memorable material.

NBCUniversal showed major love for its film division, primarily the highly anticipated Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande-led “Wicked,” during its 2024 upfront presentation Monday in New York.

In his monologue heading into Mother’s Day weekend, Jimmy Fallon tried to offer some (comedic) advice for former President Donald Trump.
“This Sunday is Mother’s Day,” Fallon began. “So, for the next 48 hours, if you see an Amazon delivery van, pull over like it’s an ambulance, Ok?”
He continued, noting that people will spend around $250 on Mother’s Day gifts.
“But don’t worry, the best gift is free — which is taking the kids somewhere so mom can have five minutes of peace!” Fallon quipped. “That’s what they want.”
“Also, just a quick word of advice to former President Trump,” Fallon added, addressing the Republican candidate. “Whatever you were thinking of spending on Melania this year, I’d double it.”

Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon tested the limits of NBC’s Password on Tuesday night (April 30) when he gave a clue that some viewers felt should have seen him disqualified. The game show sees two teams, each consisting of one celebrity player and one civilian player, competing to guess the “password” based on clues from their teammates. However, the players are not allowed to use the actual word itself when giving their clues. In Tuesday’s episode, Fallon’s team faced off against Howie Mandel‘s team, and things got a little dicey during the “Passwords You Can Do An Impression Of” round. According to The Sun U.S., the first clue “Yoda” was left unanswered after Mandel’s partner couldn’t figure out his interpretation. However, they nailed the second password, which was “Elmo.” However, the third password, “Godfather,” led to controversy. Fallon gave the first clue of “family,...

Whether or not the 10pm hour on Fox News should be considered a late-night show is a matter of some debate at the broadcast networks, but apparently that didn’t stop NBC’s Jimmy Fallon from welcoming Fox News Saturday Night host Jimmy Failla to the late-night fold.

The gift from Fallon was a full-circle moment of sorts for Failla. He met his wife while on the road performing standup, but apparently she first went to his show thinking she was seeing a Jimmy Fallon show. (The two hosts do share very similar names.)

Gillis hosted the February 24, 2024 episode of the show and performed the show’s trademark host’s monologue. However, Gillis’ jokes were poorly received by the audience in the show and at home.

Pay no attention to the discredited informant facing prison time.
GOP officials were scrambling Wednesday after Alexander Smirnov, a key witness in the impeachment proceedings against President Biden, was accused of being informed by Russian intelligence.
Smirnov was arrested last Thursday after Special Counsel David Weiss charged him on suspicion of providing the FBI with fraudulent information. Smirnov, an FBI informant for over a decade, was further discredited after a DOJ report Tuesday indicated he was not only lying to the FBI about Biden, but had “contacts with multiple foreign intelligence agencies.

Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone remembered his ‘Rocky’ co-star Carl Weathers, who reportedly died of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease in his sleep at the age of 76 on February 1. Stallone, 77, detailed Weathers’ audition for ‘Rocky’ to Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’, reports ‘People’ magazine.
He revealed how the late actor landed the role of Apollo Creed in the popular film franchise. The ‘Rambo’ star told Fallon that his death was “shocking” and described him as “magnificent” before recalling when Weathers, who was still playing for the Oakland Raiders at the time, auditioned in the mid 1970s.
“Rocky was a compilation of really great actors, almost born to play those parts,” Stallone said. “I couldn’t fill that spot (for Apollo Creed) because it required incredible athleticism, brains, spirit, talent, speed. (Weathers) had it all. I mean, he had it all”.

The appearance comes one day after Idles’ electrifying show at The Bowery Ballroom in New York, where vocalist Joe Talbot dedicated “Gift Horse” to his daughter. Anyone who has seen "The Orville" will intuit immediately that show creator Seth MacFarlane is a huge fan of "Star Trek: The Next Generation." In addition to the archetypal characters one might find in any post-"Star Trek" sci-fi show, MacFarlane borrowed a lot of "Star Trek" stories and key notions for his series. "The Orville" takes place in a future devoted to starship-driven space exploration, and starships tend to look a lot like the U.S.S. Enterprise, with various workstations lining the walls of a bridge overseen by a pair of commanding officers. Likewise, the Orville itself belongs to the Planetary Union, an organization similar to the Federation from "Star Trek." On top of all that, the crew of the Orville is a melting pot of various alien cultures, and its workers have to overcome their differences to solve problems and engage in diplomacy.
