Fans of manga and anime series Undead Unluck know that August 1 is a big day: It marks the day Fuko and Andy met, kicking off the events of the series and their involvement with the rest of their fellow Negators. But this year, August 1 will mark something else, too... some big news for the anime. At this weekend's AnimeJapan 2024, the series hosted a talk show event with the show's cast. As the panel came to an end, we got a teaser flashing back to early events of the series, as well as a shot of the in-series manga To You, From Me . Fuko's favorite shojo manga series is a major part of the Autumn Arc, where the show left off. Aniplex officially posted the eight-minute TV commercial for the Kizumonogatari -Koyomi Vamp- anime film on YouTube today, following the film's premiere in Japanese theaters on January 12. The ad, which Aniplex claims is the longest Japanese TV commercial running at 480 seconds, can be found below. Kizumonogatari -Koyomi Vamp- takes the Kizumonogatari film trilogy — based on the novel by Nisioisin — and re-edits it into a single film. In yet another example of anime blending into the real world, to celebrate the release of the Kizumonogatari -Koyomi Vamp- anime film, a compilation re-edit of the three Kizumonogatari anime films, the film has taken over Shinjuku Sanchome Tokyo Metro station in a media blitz until January 15. For those with a keen eye and have seen the original three films, you might be able to tell that Shinjuku Sanchome Station was the inspiration behind the iconic scene where Araragi and Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade met for the very first time. Alongside the collaboration, the film also announced that French artist Clémentine will be returning to compose the ending theme song for the compilation film after previously working on the themes for the second and third outings.
