- Mark Lanegan was born on November 25, 1964 in Ellensburg, Washington, USA. He was an actor and composer, known for The River Wild (1994), Small Gods (2007) and Singles (1992). He was married to Wendy Fowler and Shelley Brien. He died on February 22, 2022 in Killarney, Ireland.

- Was a member of The Screaming Trees, one of the first Seattle bands to sign with a major label, the group never attained the popularity of fellow Northwestern bands, from 1983 until they disbanded in 2000.
- Released "Here Comes That Weird Chill" EP by The Mark Lanegan Band in December and will be releasing a solo album, "Bubblegum," in 2004.
