Julia Morris has been announced as the first Celebrity Apprentice in Australia. The comedienne, who won the final challenge to launch an advertising campaign for boss Mark Bouris's financial company Yellow Brick Road with teammate Jason Coleman, cried as she was revealed as the winner of the first series of the reality TV show. As Bouris handed Morris a cheque for $$100,000 (£63,000) to go towards her charity the National Breast Cancer Foundation, she asked him to take it back and split it into two cheques for her charity and Coleman's The Song school arts project. "Any money that goes to this charity makes a huge difference," she said. "I wouldn't have that cheque in my hands if it wasn't for Jason. I would like you to take the cheque back and give us $$50,000 (£31,500) each for our charities. I believe that children (more)...

Wendell Sailor has revealed that he wants Shane Crawford to win Celebrity Apprentice. National Rugby League player Sailor, who was fired from the Australian television series earlier this month, pledged allegiance to former teammate Jason Coleman when he was eliminated, but has now changed loyalties. Sailor told The Daily Telegraph: "I tipped Jason to win it around when I got fired, but I see a very undermining part of Jason, too. So I reckon Shane Crawford will win it. I just think he's very consistent, he hasn't tried to undermine anyone." Dance choreographer Coleman's popularity on the reality television series has dwindled (more)...

A number of previously fired Celebrity Apprentice Australia stars have returned to the show for the final challenge. Didier Cohen and Deni Hines joined Jesinta Campbell and Shane Crawford in Team Unity, while Max Markson and Polly Porter teamed up with finalists Julia Morris and Jason Coleman in a task to create an advertising campaign for boss Mark Bouris's wealth management company Yellow Brick Road. Crawford chose Cohen to join him and Campbell, further igniting rumours of a romance between the modelling duo by referring to Cohen as Campbell's "boyfriend". He later called them "lovebirds" and revealed that Cohen is "starstruck" by the former Miss Universe Australia. Cohen jumped to Campbell's defence when she clashed with Hines during the task, saying: "It's the (more)...

Pauline Hanson has been eliminated from Celebrity Apprentice Australia. The politician, who faced boss Mark Bouris in the boardroom alongside teammate Jason Coleman after they lost a school play challenge, said that she felt proud that she had acted with integrity throughout the competition. As the duo entered the room, Coleman admitted that he was "devastated" to be there, but insisted that he and Hanson were the "underdogs" in the challenge because the other team had comedian Julia Morris on their side. Bouris criticised Coleman for not managing to "maintain control" of the children they were performing for. The choreographer admitted that, after being labelled "mean" by the kids, he was "worried" about his "brand" and dwindling popularity as a celebrity. In a bid to avoid 'backstabbing', (more)...

Julia Morris has posted a video on her website parodying Chris Crocker's 'Leave Britney alone' YouTube hit. Crocker became an internet sensation when he videoed himself tearfully defending Britney Spears's much-criticised return to the music scene at the 2007 MTV Music Awards and now comedian Morris has filmed her own take on Crocker's speech, focusing on her Celebrity Apprentice Australia co-star Jason Coleman. Dance choreographer Coleman's popularity on the reality television series has dwindled since he was accused of "setting up" former teammate Lisa Curry, resulting in her being fired from the show last week. In last night's school production challenge, Coleman was labelled "mean" and "crazy" by his young spectators after telling guest star Lara Bingle that she was a (more)...

Jason Coleman has slammed swimwear model Lara Bingle during her guest stint on the Australian version of Celebrity Apprentice. Choreographer Coleman and politician Pauline Hanson were teamed up with guest celebrities Bingle and radio presenter Jono Coleman as Team Unity, and were asked to present a children's play at a local Sydney school. Team leader Coleman called Bingle a "waste of space" when she walked on stage too early, while Hanson became frustrated when the model didn't purchase all the props and costumes needed for the production. The children watching the performance described the So You Think You Can Dance Australia judge as "crazy" and "mean", as he desperately tried to save the show based on 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. Lisa Curry has revealed that she is "relieved" that she was eliminated from Celebrity Apprentice. The Australian former Olympic swimming champion, who was fired by boss Mark Bouris last week after falling out with teammate Jason Coleman, said that she began to fear for her health during the show after having heart surgery a few years ago. Curry told New Idea magazine: "I had expected we would be treated nicely and I thought, 'I didn't sign up for this stress'. I thought my defibrillator was going to go off. I just kept telling myself, 'It's not about celebrity or ego, it's about raising money'. "[I chose the Heart Foundation as] my charity because in 2008 I was rushed to intensive care to have an operation on my heart and have a defibrillator (more)...

Lisa Curry has revealed that there was more than one romance on this year's Australian version of Celebrity Apprentice. The former Olympic swimming champion, who was fired from the competition earlier this week after a dispute with Jason Coleman, said that Jesinta Campbell and Didier Cohen were not the only contestants to get together during the show. Curry told the Courier-Mail: "[They were] only one of a couple of love affairs going on in there. I can't tell you [who else]. You've got to watch it and see it yourself.'' When asked if it was politician Pauline Hanson, Curry laughed and said: 'No, I'm not a gossiper." When asked if it was Coleman and Cohen, she said: "Didier wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole! Look, all I can say is you can see chemistry between people. (more)...

Lisa Curry has been fired from Celebrity Apprentice Australia. The former Olympic swimming champion, who was temporarily replaced by Warwick Capper earlier this week when she had a prior engagement, was hauled into the boardroom by boss Mark Bouris after she and her Team Unity colleagues Shane Crawford and Jason Coleman lost a challenge to create a billboard for P&O cruise liners. Curry and Coleman fell out during the task when she accused him of trying to steal her role as project manager, while he said that she needed to give more "direction". In the boardroom, Bouris told Crawford that he was being a "fence sitter" and should have stepped in as the "peacemaker" during Curry and Coleman's dispute. Bouris praised Coleman for his "passion" but added that he had "polarised [his] teammates". (more)...

Celebrity Apprentice Australia's Max Markson has apologised for branding Didier Cohen a "self-confessed cocaine addict" before they were both fired in last night's episode. The celebrity agent - who was facing elimination with model Cohen and choreographer Jason Coleman on Tuesday's (November 8) show after a catwalk challenge - said that he only told boss Mark Bouris that he had read about Cohen's drug-riddled past in the papers because he was "clutching at straws" to save himself. Markson told the Herald Sun: "[I felt like the] devil in disguise. I was clutching at straws to try and stay in because I really thought it would be Jason and Didier on the chopping block, not me. "Didier is an inspirational young man. In hindsight again I wouldn't have (more)...

Australian Celebrity Apprentice's Max Markson labelled Didier Cohen a "cocaine addict" shortly before they were both fired last night (Tuesday). The celebrity agent, who was taken into the boardroom with model Cohen by team leader Jason Coleman after they lost a fashion show challenge, told boss Mark Bouris that he should fire Cohen over him because he had read "all over the papers" that he had a drug-riddled past. In a double elimination, Bouris chose to fire Markson for his lack of contribution to the catwalk task, together with Cohen for not taking the rehearsals seriously. As they walked out of the boardroom, Coleman said to Markson: "I can't believe you just sold him down the river like that. I'm so disappointed in that. That's terrible what you did in there, Max. That's a part of his life that's (more)...

Wendell Sailor has been fired from Australian Celebrity Apprentice. The former rugby player, who was captain of Team Unity during an aquarium photoboard challenge in Wednesday night's episode, was eliminated after bringing Pauline Hanson and Jason Coleman back into the boardroom with him to face boss Mark Bouris. Sailor told Bouris: "I was the project manager, so that makes me accountable. I'd hate to get fired over not bringing one or two corporates in." The other Team Unity members Jesinta Campbell and Shane Crawford were safe from elimination, but Coleman slammed rival Team Ignite member Max Markson again for stealing a $$5,000 (£3,200) cheque from him. "I don't think anyone from this team should be fired," he told Bouris. "If anyone [should go], (more)...

Australian Celebrity Apprentice's contestants have fallen out over an "unsavoury" incident. Celebrity agent Max Markson, who was moved to Team Ignite with model Didier Cohen for a task at Sydney Aquarium, was labelled "uncharitable" by the members of his rival team after stealing a $$5,000 (£3,200) cheque from them. Team Unity - now consisting of Pauline Hanson, Jesinta Campbell, Wendell Sailor, Jason Coleman and Shane Crawford - were handed the cheque by Woman's Day magazine after choreographer Coleman agreed to do a special dance for them. Markson, however, claimed that he had already been pledged the money by the publication's editor and insisted that the donation belonged to his team. In the boardroom, Coleman told Mark Bouris: "Any attempt to reason with Max was futile. (more)...

Didier Cohen broke down during a task on Australian Celebrity Apprentice last night. The male model, who recently revealed that he used to be a "homeless screw-up", was overcome with emotion when he led Team Unity to victory raising money for homeless charity Youth Off the Streets. Cohen, together with Jason Coleman, Shane Crawford, Max Markson and Wendell Sailor, went head to head with the girls' team in a challenge to create an "art masterpiece". The boys decided to take a black and white photograph of themselves naked, holding hats in front of them. At the auction of the artwork, Cohen cried as he admitted that he was "stressed" as a team captain, but said that it meant "the world" that so many people put bids in for their creations. Later in boss Mark Bouris's boardroom meeting, he (more)...
