Nevsky was offered a role in Columbia/Tristar "BattleDome" but refused
because didn't want to play "bad Russian". He also was offered a part
in "The Order" by Jean-Claude Van Damme but refused for the same reason
too.
He was an amateur boxer from 1986 to 1992. Later he learned different
martial arts and attended master-classes by Chuck Norriss and Steven
Seagal.
Never worked as personal trainer but inspired millions in Russia and
ex-USSR through his books and TV appearances about bodybuilding and
fitness.
He was "The Biggest Bodybuilder in Russia" in 1995. His weight was 320
pounds and arms were 23".
Co-starred in three films with Andrew Divoff: Moscow Heat (2004), Treasure Raiders (2007) and Magic Man (2010). Co-starred with Robert Davi in both Magic Man and Black Rose (2014).
