HBO is beefing up the cast of its political drama Confirmation by adding Jennifer Hudson and Greg Kinnear.
The Rick Famuyiwa-directed television movie dramatizes the scandal surrounding Judge Clarence Thomas's (Wendell Pierce) nomination to the Us Supreme Court.
Kerry Washington will star in Confirmation as Anita Hill, who accused Thomas of sexually harassing her when they worked for the Department of Education.
The Hunger Games star Jeffrey Wright will play Hill's legal counsel Charles Ogletree, while Kinnear has been cast as then-senator and now-us vice president Joe Biden.
Hudson will appear as Hill's co-worker Angela Wright, whose statement about the sexual harassment allegations had a major impact on the outcome of Thomas's nomination.
