Below Deck Med Season 9 premiered this week, and new deckhand, Joe Bradley made an Nsfw comment right from the get-go. On a side note, he’s not the same Joe Bradley from Southern Hospitality. He works alongside Nathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron. Bravo fans already complain about Sandy Yawn and the contrived drama of the show.
Joe Bradley Isn’t The Only One Bringing Sexual Energy
Unbelievable, seems to be the main reaction to Season 9 of the Bravo show. The hot tub looked nasty, but the crew didn’t clean it up before the guests arrived. Aesha Scott seemed too happy to be back with Sandy Yawn. And there’s twerking and sexual innuendos that make it all feel scripted.

The hunky captain had Below Deck fans and his own crew members gushing over him.
However, Captain Jason had no idea the show was such a big deal before Below Deck Down Under aired.
The Bravo personality also didn’t realize how much his life would change from the show.
Boy, has it ever changed! That was proved more than ever at BravoCon last year when all the ladies wanted a piece of the hot captain.
As Below Deck Down Under fans anxiously wait for Season 3, Captain Jason has revealed his initial thoughts about the yachting franchise.

Below Deck Med Season 8 has just ended, but the show will be back on Bravo airwaves sooner than fans might think or, quite frankly, want.
Season 8 of Below Deck Med was one for the books and not in a good way at all.
There were many times Below Deck Med fans called out the show for being toxic and unwatchable.
However, despite the fan reaction to the current season, Below Deck Med and Captain Sandy Yawn aren’t going anywhere.
In fact, Bravo revealed at BravoCon that there would be another season of the Below Deck spin-off, and it will premiere this year.
Let’s take a look at what we know about Below Deck Med Season 9.
Has Below Deck Med Season 9 been filmed?

Back in August, Below Deck Down Under was lauded for its handling of sexual misconduct on screen when Captain Jason Chambers fired Luke Jones, bosun of the deck crew, after he — while naked — attempted to get into bed with junior stewardess Margot Sisson without her consent.
The crew returned after a night of drinking in Australia where the season was filming and Luke tried to climb into bed with Margot even though she was asleep. In a rare move on Below Deck and in reality television in general, a producer...

Captain Lee Rosbach is speaking out on the sexual misconduct incidents that took place on this week’s episode of “Below Deck Down Under”.
During Monday’s episode, Luke Jones and Laura Bileskalne were both fired as a result of their “despicable” behaviour, as Rosbach described while chatting with Us Weekly.
“I’m sure they’ll be paying the price for it for a long time to come. As they should,” the “Below Deck” captain told the outlet.
When the “Down Under” crew returned to the superyacht after a night spent drinking alcohol off the boat, Jones climbed into third stew Margot Sisson’s bed naked and “without consent” while she was asleep, despite the fact that she’d made it clear she didn’t want him in her cabin.

Captain Jason Chambers is speaking out.
The Below Deck Down Under star, who fired two members of his crew following two incidents of sexual misconduct, took to Instagram on Wednesday to speak out about the situation.
On Below Deck Down Under Season 2 Episode 7, airing Monday on Bravo, Jason fired Luke Jones after he got into stewardess Margot Sisson's bed naked as she slept.
Laura Bileskalne was fired later in the episode for sympathizing with Luke, comments to Margot about the incident, and her inappropriate actions towards deckhand Adam Kodra.
"Hi everybody, I'm sure you're digesting episodes six and seven as I am," Chambers said on Instagram.
"I've had a flood of messages over the last 24 hours from people in similar situations, some not so lucky of the outcome, so my heart goes out to them."

Brittini Burton, a Below Deck Down Under Season 1 deckhand, said it is important to emphasize how the women came together on the boat following the sexual assault filmed during season 2.
Chief stew Aesha Scott became extremely protective of stew Margot Sisson after bosun Luke Jones came to her cabin naked while she was unconscious. He climbed into her bunk, which is when producers intervened. Horrified, Scott ended up staying with Sisson for some time while she slept to protect her. She then told Captain Jason Chambers who swiftly removed Jones from the boat. Jones was fired the next day.
Burton, who currently runs a female empowerment business, applauded how both Scott and chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph nurtured and supported Sisson after the incident. She said the display of support and protection was extremely important and should be applauded.

“Below Deck Down Under” season 2 producers have been praised online after stepping in and stopping two potential sexual assault incidents happening.
After a drunken night out, bosun Luke Jones climbed into stewardess Margot Sisson’s bunk naked despite her saying she just wanted to go to bed, People reported.
He asked production to leave, but they quickly intervened and got him out of the room. Margot was asleep at the time of the incident.

In the opening scenes of the latest episode of Below Deck Down Under, we saw something that pretty much never happens on the Bravo yachting franchise: a producer appeared. For the “fourth wall” to be broken, it was clear something deadly serious was about to happen.
A naked Luke Jones — bosun/leader of the deck crew on the charter season — had just climbed into junior stewardess Margot Sisson’s bunk bed. The crew had returned from a night out in Australia where they had been drinking heavily. Margot was passed out in bed and immobile.

Below Deck Down Under bosun João Franco may be new to the series, but not the franchise. Franco made his first appearance on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 3 as a deckhand. He returned for Below Deck Med Season 4 as bosun and has been working on racking up certifications while off the show.
Franco has been a controversial figure on Below Deck. He majorly clashed with chief stew Hannah Ferrier and bosun Conrad Empson during his first season of the series. Franco also dated one stew while flirting with another stew and got extremely messy when he would get drunk.
And while Below Deck Med Season 3 was tough and he received backlash, he returned for Below Deck Med Season 4 as bosun and as a redemption season. He patched up any conflicts he had with Ferrier and curbed his drinking. And while he definitely bickered less with the crew, he still ended up making waves.

New Below Deck Down Under bosun João Franco got a less than thrilling welcome from chief stew Aesha Scott because they majorly clashed the last time they worked together.
Franco will replace fired bosun Luke Jones and while he and Scott don’t totally hate each other, she blocked him on social media after they worked together on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4, especially after Franco referred to Scott as looking like a “Russian prostitute” during the season.
Aesha Scott said João Franco used to flirt with her ‘all the time’
Scott wanted to confront Franco at the Below Deck Med Season 4 reunion, but they didn’t film a reunion that season. At one point Franco made a derogatory comment about Scott’s outfit when the crew was out on the town.

It’s time for the real client challenge on “Project Runway,” in which the designers have to create fashionable looks not for professional models, but for clients who get to dictate what they want from each designer. So how did it go? Scroll down for our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments and commentary throughout the episode.
Thanks to the Siriano Save, no one was eliminated from “Runway” last week in the denim extravaganza that was “Uncut Hems,” so there are still eight designers competing for another chance at the “Project Runway” title: Brittany Allen (Season 18), Prajje Oscar Jean Baptiste (Season 19), Laurence Basse (Season 15), Bishme Cromartie (Season 17), Rami Kashou (Season Four), Korto Momolu (Season Five), Kara Saun (Season One), and Anna Yinan Zhou (Season 19). Below Deck Down Under chief stew Aesha Scott really is going to be a “tougher b****” on season 2. As chief stew, Scott said she was more assertive and learned to be proactive when it came to crew issues – something she regrets not doing more of last season.
Last season Scott felt the need to prove herself to Captain Jason Chambers. So she tried to resolve issues with chef Ryan McKeown and stew Magda Ziomek on her own. From that experience, Scott realized that she should have brought problems to Chambers’ attention earlier so they could have been resolved faster.

[Editor's Note: This post contains spoilers for the Below Deck Down Under Season 2 premiere, "Yes, We Cairns!"]
Below Deck Down Under's second charter season has just begun, but the crew members have already encountered rough seas. In Season 2, returning stars Captain Jason Chambers and chief stewardess Aesha Scott face unprecedented challenges as they attempt to deliver five-star service aboard the oldest vessel the franchise has ever seen, Northern Sun, a converted fishing boat that first set sail in 1977. Making matters even worse, Jason and Aesha begin their first charter two crew down, and everyone must step up to keep their drunk, entitled guests happy. By the end of the premiere, "Yes, We Cairns!" the guests take things one step too far, and they find themselves on the receiving end of Jason's wrath when he discovers them swimming in shark-infested waters in the middle of the night.

Stew June Foster went viral on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 when chief stew Hannah Ferrier continuously called “June, June, Hannah” on the radio. In fact, to this day, she still has strangers relay the line to her, which makes her laugh.
But she wasn’t laughing after her departure from the show. Foster was hired when stew Anastasia Surmava took over as chef when the original chef was fired. Surmava’s time as the chef was short-lived and the stress caused her to return back to being a stew. Foster was let go and she seemed rattled and pretty upset at the time.
Foster recently told Showbiz Cheat Sheet that she privately struggled off the show due to backlash and online bullying.

Despite his charming nature, chef Ben Robinson from Below Deck has popped off at a stew or two in the galley. He recently discussed how many great chefs can be an “a**hole” in the kitchen when it comes to their food.
Robinson also told Showbiz Cheat Sheet that being a little grumpy in the kitchen is the norm for most good chefs. “I think every serious or good chef does have that moment because the food can’t be compromised,” he said.
“And if we see it being compromised by the staff or whatever, then that’s a problem,” he said. “Food is all about timing and if it’s not going out, it’s getting cold or it’s getting soggy, or whatever it is. [So] I do think good chefs should throw their toys occasionally. I think if you’re a pushover as a chef, then your food is going to be compromised.
