Maybe it’s the movies I get to review or influences like Saw but right now movies where a group of people are all imprisoned together in an enclosed space and are tested on seems to be the “in thing” at the moment. Bane fits these criteria with just a twist of alien.
For me Bane is a movie of three parts. It starts off with six women trapped in some kind of testing facility, electrified fences surround them and they are unable to escape. They are interrogated and tested in a quite mediocre way and we get to know what little we can find out about them as they all seem to be suffering from amnesia. The second part of the movie they start getting killed off by a surgeon type character with no apparent motive,...

Bordello Death Tales has sashayed its way onto DVD, and if you live in the UK/Ireland, here's your chance to get a free copy of the film. The blood-soaked three-part anthology film follows stories emanating from Madame Raven's Bordello... a great place to spend the weekend!
The three sections of the film are "The Ripper", directed by Jim Eaves (Witches Hammer, Bane) and starring Stuart Gregory and Tina Barnes; "Stitchgirl", directed by Alan Ronald (Jesus vs. The Messiah) and starring Eleanor James as Stitchgirl, a character reminiscent of Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas and Julian Lamoral-Roberts; and "Vice Day", directed by Pat Higgins (Trashhouse, Hellbride) and starring Cy Henty and Danielle Laws. You can get a look at some of the fun with the trailer for Stitchgirl posted below.

Three of the most promising British horror directors have joined forces for an anthology feature which wraps principal photography this week. Pat (Killerkiller) Higgins, James (The Witches Hammer) Eaves and Alan (Jesus Vs. The Messiah) Ronald have pooled their talents for Bordello Death Tales, which aims to revive the British omnibus subgenre that flourished in the 1970s, and provided the exclusive pics seen below.
“Pat and I had been talking about doing a multistory horror project for a while, and came up with the idea of setting it in a brothel,” Eaves tells Fango. “We needed a third director, and Pat suggested Al, who’d worked with him on all of his films. What started as an idea in a pub has blossomed into a full-fledged feature with what I believe are three strong and original tales.”
“It actually fell into place quite easily,” adds Higgins, whose latest feature Hellbride...
