Prudence Njeri Wangu is a Kenyan-born actress and filmmaker living in Toronto-Canada. Ms. Prudence was born in 1998, August 2nd, to Grace Karani, in the Central Province of Kenya. Ms. Prudence is known for her Canadian debut film "Sleep Without a Dream." A 2021 short film in which she wrote, produced and starred in as the fictional character 'Vic'. Ms. Prudence is also known for directing "The Big Iron" , a 2023 Canadian produced film.
After graduating in Africa Film and T.V Talent Training Institute with a diploma in acting for film and T.V, Ms. Wangu relocated to Canada seeking greener pastures in the film industry.
Prudence's work has been recognized by festivals like "Blood in the Snow Festival" and "Toronto Shorts International Film Festival".
As of today, Prudence continues to grow as an independent film maker and actress, whilst she collaborates with "Oddly Dark Productions."
