CANNES -- Insolvent German mini-major Senator Entertainment has outlined a restructuring plan that would see its L.A. production outfit Senator International revert back to topper Joe Drake in a management buyout while Senator Entertainment courts a suitor to take over the rest of the Berlin-based firm. Senator CEO Christopher Borgmann said the management buy-out scenario was one favored by company executives but pointed out that insolvency administrators and Senator's creditors would have the final say. Drake said it was still "far to early" to talk about an MBO.
