If you had told me, three years ago as we peeked backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, that one day I’d be welling up over the arrival of a baby for the bratty blonde with the too-short dress and the skeezy guy who looked her up and down (while his girlfriend was nearby), I’d have said “Bless your heart” (while thinking you were nuts).
But here we are, Nashville fans, up to our elbows in giant, stuffed giraffes and pink doilies, celebrating the birth of little What About Barkley.
Tiny, adorable Working Title Barkley.

Last night’s flashback-tastic New Girl episode, “Virgins,” was a treasure trove of music to set the mood — some songs more successfully than others — as the loftmates looked back on their first sexual encounters. Anchoring the eclectic mix (which ranged from Sublime to Boyz II Men and even figured in Lisa Loeb), Ellie Goulding’s “Anything Could Happen” kicked in during a fan-fulfilling scene between Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel).
It got us thinking of some of our favorite first-time anthems from shows of yore. Below, our ultimate Spotify playlist of coupling tracks!

And no, we're not being paid to say that (unfort). But, season 3 was just so damn good that we wanted to give you a little glimpse into the greatness. Some us Ology editors picked our absolute fave scenes of the season. There are many more. We were just forced to choose one each so please don't get mad if we missed your favorite. Just yell at us in the comments section if you want.
We also asked some fans to tweet their faves, so check them out too!

On Tuesday's elimination episode of "The Voice," the finalists were revealed for the teams. Coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green, and Blake Shelton each had 100 points to divide between their two finalists. Those points would be added to the percentage of America's vote each finalist received, meaning that the vote and the coach had about equal influence on the finalists.
Amidst the sad exits, though, we were privy to performances from last year's finalists. Blake's contestant, Dia Frampton, was joined by Kid Cudi to perform her new single, "Don't Kick The Chair." Vicci Martinez sang with her coach, Cee-Lo, for her song "Come Along." The legendary Cyndi Lauper sang "Money Changes Everything" with Beverly McClellan, Christina Aguilera's contestant from Season 1. Finally, Javier Colon sang his cover of "A Drop in the Ocean" by Ron Pope.
So who was eliminated?
Team Christina: Lindsey Pavao is eliminated, Chris Mann is the finalist.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 3 premiere packed a serious emotional punch -- it certainly had lighter moments than last season's opener, but the ultimate impact was devastating.
Thank you, Paul Wesley.
I'm so glad the show is back -- partly because I missed writing these recaps and discussing the show with you all! If this is your first time reading one of my recaps, welcome! This isn't a review, but it is bursting with my own opinions. Feel free to share yours in the comments section -- just keep it classy.
You guys ready to meet the ripper, celebrate Elena's 18th, and see some hot monster-on-monster sex? Cue up those DVRs. Let's go.
Previously on "The Vampire Diaries": Stefan sold his soul so his brother could continue living a generally miserable existence. Elena kissed Damon goodbye, and he ended up sticking around. Tyler and Caroline smiled at each other and my cold dead heart melted.
